It was an honest accident. I was searching for one of my skirts I've lost. Upon going through clothes after clothes, on the very bottom of a drawer, discovered a small gift bag I've never seen before that said ''To (my name), with love, (his name)''. Inside was a letter, a receipt dated March 30th, 11:13 am and hidden on the very bottom of the bag was the gift. The letter's intro read ''Today April 30'', meaning the gift was meant to be given on that day. It's not a birthday gift because my b-day is still far out on Oct 28th.
I already know what it is (the message in the letter is very brief and straight forward) but placed it back to where it was, covered it with the clothes and tried my best to pretend nothing happened.
I feel bad for that accident. This is the one time where I can pretend to be ignorant about it right?

yooo wow what are the odds of that happening! crazy haha. nah i wouldn't worry too much, it was clearly an accident right?
I'd say just act like normal, try not to seem like you're hiding something. maybe subtly give him a little compliments or affection so he knows you're feelin good.
on the day he was planning to give it, act surprised and grateful no matter what it is. make a big show about how sweet it is that he planned a special surprise. he'll be stoked you liked it!
i wouldn't mention finding it early, cuz then he might think you were snooping. plus it ruins his plan! just play it cool and enjoy whatever the gift is whenever he plays it cool too. it'll be your little secret together :)
besides, sounds like y'all have some good communication and he prob wants to make you happy anyway. i'm sure he'll think it's cute how grateful you are. don't sweat it!
That's happened to everyone. And pretending you never saw it is more of a white lie than anything. It's not hurting anyone and lets that person still have the joy of giving it to you.
True. Meanwhile I'm now dealing with my hidden joy. That was the best gift (well will have) I've ever had from him.
Aww, well as long as you're happy, that's what he will have wanted anyway :) So you won't really be lying.
Yes, just act like you haven't seen anything.
Ok thanks. I feel bad for ruining his surprise though. I wasn't suppose to know it until that day.
He'll never know you saw it as long as you don't tell him;)
