What are the things you need to be attracted to somebody, to fall in love with somebody, and to stay in love with that person?

Intelligence and reliability are two things I think would matter in all three sections, as well as compassion and humility. I could love somebody who is not intelligent, but not sure I would be happy married to them.

Obviously be attracted to them physically but also attracted to them as a individual I need to like their heart, their mind and who they are as an individual. And I need to be able to mesh well with them.

Physical attraction, respect and loyalty.
Intelligence is good too, but absolutely not necessary. Most people are idiots. The key is to find the idiot whose own brand of dumb is to your liking.
