I don’t mean lust, or long term attachment. I mean deep romantic attraction.
The process of a female falling in love can take months, it happens gradually, and a man we weren’t initially attracted to can grow on us. Meanwhile, a man who wasn’t initially attracted to a woman never will be. Why is that? A woman’s triggers for romantic attraction are less immediate. These are the 3 main triggers:
1. His personal strength and emotional stability, which can only be demonstrated by seeing him react to challenging situations, (and they don’t happen on a daily basis).
2. His intelligence and confidence, which can also take time to assess. They are best proven in situations where wit or knowledge is pitted against others'. Also by seeing how he responds to other men in different real-life social situations.
3. His commitment, how long he has stayed with you.
You could say that while men judges a woman in relation to himself, a woman evaluates a man on how he relates to the outside world and how reliable he is. And obviously, this takes longer.
