Why do I attract guys who want to be saved?

I'm an independent woman who is naturally ambitious, driven and it seems like I get attracted to or gravitate towards those who want to be saved.

I find it unusual because these are guys and they want to be saved by me or they thank me for saving them. One of them said im his rescuer, the other one said i can save him lol.

I think it depends on the man. I think men want a woman whose nurturing and loving. Being strong and independent doesn’t just mean the feminist boss bitch…. It’s really the opposite.

Me personally I don’t really want a woman who pretends to be helpless and a victim. It’s annoying.

I think you like many other women who've become indenpendent is beginning to realize what it means to hold power. It attracts those without. Very rarely do people with power attract eachother because power doesn't come without sacrifice, usually in terms of time, energy or an added responsibility outside of ones own family. Most men in power look to match with someone who havn't done similar sacrifices so that at least one partner is able to take a greater responsibility at home.

Problem is, women havn't yet realized that holding power means they become the finicial pillar in a relationship.

Sometimes we just tend to attract the opposite. Although you’re an independent woman you might have a certain aura around you that attracts men who want be taken care of or simply appreciate how independent you are.

It's simple. You give off some masculine energy that most guys aren't interested in. The only guys interested in it are the type of guys who need a mommy. You know, passive, soft, helpless types. Sure you attract them but you also are repulsing the other guys. You perceive it as you being attracted to them when actually it is that they are the only guys open to taking you seriously.

Usually it doesn't work out when a woman is more ambitious than the guy she's with or even if it "works" he resents the situation. That said, I do know a woman who is a high level business exec, very, very ambitious and she's married to an ambitious guy who doesn't have that type of high level job but he basically runs his own small remodel/construction business on the side and has a day job too so he's no slacker. I think it works because she is VERY FEMININE at home. She's smart enough to know how to switch off the boss stuff and not try to be his boss. I think that's where most "i'm independent and ambitious" type women fall flat.

Also, normal dudes aren't interested in a serious relationship with an "independent" woman because she doesn't actually need a man and guys only want a woman who needs him (for protection and so on). You know what worked in male-female relationships for thousands of years. The guys interested in the independent woman for serious are -- as I said -- the weak dudes who can't comprehend what it really is to be masculine.

You may not be attracting needy men. They may be perfectly self sufficient and shit testing you to find out if you’re a gold digger. Diggers reject needy men outright because there’s nothing to be gained from dating them. If a man wants to meaningfully weed out the takers, he’ll feign weakness. It never fails. Change you attitude quickly , and never entertain these " needy " souls , they are gravitating to you for a reason , you are putting out that vibe. Never , ever , ever go for a dhead who is younger , and when they are older focus strongly on a go getter , just dump the rest in the early stages.
