If a man's wife is messaging single guys (more than one) on websites a lot - is this emotional cheating?

I know that if I was married and my husband was messaging women on websites all the time for years, I would be livid about it and feel like I am not fulfilling something in him that he's getting instead from all these other single women. Emotionally Cheating is what I call it.

I was trolling earlier on another question by pretending to be a male version of a woman that does this sort of stuff, and then uses the stereotypical gaslighting of "they're just really nice, they're just really good friends, and you're just being jealous and possessive." Complete with accepting no accountability and even blaming the partner when things get found to "be going too far."

I'm not trolling here right now... and it's a reoccurring theme I've seen for at least a decade, and I just don't understand how so many people just cannot see how ridicules the behavior no matter what?

I do want to clamp down about it on the women more because that's simply where I see it being justified in the same ways I laid out the most. It's like everyone doing it knows it's some form of cheating or will lead to it, and nobody seems to justify it more than the woman doing it.

That's it, that's my non-trolling rant about it and I love it when other women see it in a similar manner even if it's not to the extent that I just expressed.

💯 Exactly!! That's why I asked this question because I believe that it is cheating no matter what they say about it. If you're married you don't need to be spending time messaging with single guys for years! And if her husband doesn't think that anything is wrong with her doing that then I don't believe that he really loves her because man... that's HIS wife! Right?

Yes it’s emotional cheating especially if she is doing it behind her husbands’ back , the same goes for a married guy talking to girls’ online behind his wife’s back. Basically anything you can keep secret from your partner , makes you a cheater

Anything that is sexual, that is not with ones partner is cheating in every sense of the word. Same with emotional stuff that is not with your partner. Especially if said interactions are interactions you would not want to share with your spouse or significant other.
