How Do You Deal With Your Extremely Attractive Boyfriend/ Partner Getting Too Much Attention?

Sooooooo, I know this is a really stupid question, I’m not gonna lie, but I just wanna hear others’ takes on their attractive partners and how they deal with the excess/ unwanted attention their partner’s receive.

Lately, my boyfriend flew to another state for the summer (for a summer camp + to just chill), and he’s been getting a lot of attention from girls our age (16 and such). He’s been telling me about these girls that keep bothering him and giggling around him; they follow him around the campus and talk about how hot my boyfriend is. These same girls already knew that he was already taken, yet they still pester him and try to flirt with him. Keep in mind, this is what I’ve heard from him, and I do trust him (right now, it’s been really hard to).

Just recently, my boyfriend was on call with me and he was sitting outside his campus building by the parking lot. He told me there were these girls from the window trying to converse with him through their iPad (didn’t really bother me much but still); they were acting all giggly as if they had a crush on him. Then comes this one girl in the other window, and she had her phone aimed straight at my boyfriend as if she was taking pictures or recording him— she closed the curtains as soon as she saw him but came back again to take a peek.

I don’t really know how to feel about this, and I know I’m just insecure and stuff, but it is making me really frustrated. I think it’s safe to mention that my boyfriend is really attractive— in a Bjorn Andresen + Hayden Christensen type of way. On the other hand, I’m as average as one can get and only gets targeted by a bit older guys (rarely) or pedoss :(

I guess I just feel nervous about somebody else taking my place but… I don’t know what to think really.

He chose you. Not other girls. So, it doesn't matter how pretty other girls are and how often they're trying to get his attention. Just try to relax, trust him and distract your mind when you get these thoughts. You also need to build your confidence. The way you view yourself isn't something how he sees you. If you don't love yourself, how can you expect someone else to love you?

What can you even do about it? It's beyond your control. Just try not to worry about it. You can make somebody go but you can't make them stay. If this guy is with you when all the girls are going crazy over him, you must be special or a lot better looking than you think.
