It's usually so fake and painfully obvious now some of these girls are pretty dumb…. But it’s learned helplessness. They know they don’t have to work or do any heavy lifting in a relationship. If they can just make you feel sorry for them and take care of everything.

And you eventually become drained. Because your partner is basically a bump on a log. You’re putting all the labor. Emotional, physical, mental, romantic, financial and sexual. You don’t really get much of anything in return.

We use it because it works. If you want a guy to approach you then look like you need help, it gives him the perfect excuse.

In a relationship nothing strokes a guys ego than coming to the rescue. Do you really think we can't open jars?

There are a lot of jars I can’t open w/o using some tricks my mother taught me like wacking it with a butterknife. If a guy is nearby I will hand him the jar (I don’t even need to say anything) or else I use the knife trick!

Well this question goes to an extreme where it sounds like you are talking about women who do nothing at all really and expect the man to do everything. If that happened that does not sound like a relationship the man, or actually either person should be in.

But to answer a less extreme version, prob. the best way for a girl to flirt w a guy is to ask him to help with something, for example, “can you carry this heavy box from my car to my apartment” because it gives him an ego boost without any cost and it gives him a chance to show he likes you or at least to show he’s a nice person.

In a good relationship I think both take care of, and are taken care of by, the other partner in their own ways and if somebody focused on only one type of care they could think it was one sided but, it should not actually be. It just might look different for each person.
