Would you end a marriage, male or female, if your partner changed the terms in such away that you lost all agency?

Just curious. I read a story recently where a man's wife tried to force him to sign a contract basically stating that if he didn't do 100% of the chores, 100% of the cooking, 100% of the emotional supporting, he would lose "Partner points", and consequences to losing said points result in silence for a week, Loss of bedroom access for a week and so on. Keep in mind his partner does not have a job, and pays nothing to the bills, and there are no children involved.

Rightly so, He packed his stuff and left.

Please note i have no idea of the story is true, i have no clue where it came from other than being on socials, i just thought it was a messed up concept so i had to ask it. And in the story, the person is a guy that had this happen to them. But im asking everyone, Girls, what if your partner did this to you. Guys what if your partner did this to you.

I personally would have done the same. I dont deal with people who feel the need to control me like that.

A marriage shouldn’t involve any sort of bean counting crap. No one does 100% of anything for eternity.

Yeah my wife and I NEVER keep a tally of who does what or who owes what. Doing that only creates resentment. I refuse to resent my wife.
