My grandfather and my mom. My grandfather passed like 14 years ago and I talk about him everyday to someone. I want to keep his memory alive. He was a wonderful man that taught me how to be caring, empathetic, hard working, humourous, and everything positive you could want a man to be. He was open about his imperfections and tried to help me learn from mistakes. Most importantly he taught me old school values that I believe are actually still good today. I remember my first crush and he was the first person I ran to because he knew how to treat people and I was scared to be stupid. I was like 12 or 13 and he never made me feel embarrassed and tried really hard to be a good example of how to treat a woman.
He was old school born in the 20s but he somehow didn't act old like some folks do. He was never a kids these days guy. He wanted to learn about my generation and wanted to things to be better for us and he tried with all his might to make the world better for me than it was for him.
Kids weren't in my cards but I want to do the same thing for younger than me generations. I am not perfect but I'm trying the best I can. I want to be proud of myself but I also want him to be proud of me. I miss him very much.
My mom his daughter is the most loving Mom a person can have. I'm not a mammas boy but I do tell her I love her everytime I talk to her and I make sure I tell her how thankful I am to have her in my life. We didn't have it great all the time (not the worst.. very lucky in many ways) but very hard as a kid for some of it. She's clearly his daughter and we both talk about Grandpa a lot. Anyone of my friends that has ever met him loved him and tell stories of him even if they met him once 30 years ago ha. Thanks for asking this question and giving me a chance to tell a little about him. I could forever talk about him.
My pleasure. It made me happy to share. Have a great night (or day)
My dad. We did lots of things together. He taught me a lot.
My parents. They are the reason im who i am. My dad was a musician and my mom was a weird goth chick in their younger years. My love of music came from them and some bands i listen to now, i dont remember the first time i heard em because i was so small. They have been supportive of me all my life with my endeavors, and through them i learned how its good to be grateful even for the smallest things. A roof over our head and food on the table is a basic need but for us at times it felt like a luxury from difficult times. Its why i can't stand when some people dont think about how lucky they are to have such things.
My mom and dad. My personality is a combination of both of them for better or worse. They had an unhealthy dynamic, home life was bad and it really affected me in my relationships as an adult. My Dad is in a better place now and is thriving, my mom is still crazy. I wish they split sooner. I try to focus on the positive aspects and let go of the negative, it can be hard but I know I’m already doing better than they were. My sister has been a great role model for doing just that and knowing that she could do it gives me hope that I can too

My parents. They loved each other despite my mother didn't love me. My dad looked with 20 like young Alain Delon and my mother was 9/10 and they knew each other since they were 16 and 20, their love was often stormy but honest. I was just an accident she had with 19. If I didn't kill the little emotional Freya inside of me, on emotional lever I would be fine according to psychologists... and psychologist with their 100 IQ of book knowledge must know it. XD
I'll say... the friendship with my Luna dog...
it did save my life, gave me a meaning to life, as well
