There are a lot of similar questions about this at the moment. The winter must just bring it out of people, lol. Alright, here goes:
The truth is that it depends. You have to see if she's being snippy but smiling, or whether she is sincerely scowling at you. I have a friend who I get REALLY p*ssed at, but when he looks back at me a certain way, I just sigh and shake my head. I can't stay mad at him for long. Same goes on his end.
Mind you, this indicates that you guys might just end up being friends at the end of this phase. Generally, however, it can indicate an attraction. Just don't p*ss each other off too much, lol.
Hope this helps.

Have you read "Much Ado About Nothing" by William Shakespeare. Two of the characters that fall in love start out with a bantering and playful fighting relationship. You can't stop thinking about her, because she challenges you in a way that nice girls don't. You probably actually have to think around her and have to say what you really think. There's a novelty to someone that isn't just comfortable right away. Before you worry about where she is and what she's feeling, I'd try to get a better handle on how you are feeling. And then take action following that determination.

I had the exact same relationship with a guy friend of mine,we are the best of friends,i like him more than a friend but he started dating someone else so I just kept quiet,i din't want to lose the friendship. Maybe if I asked him sooner the outcome would have been different,so you never know, don't wait til she finds someone else just ask if you two would ever be more than friends and if she says no leave it at that, save your pride and your friendship.
hope this helps:)lol it's caled LOVE hahahahahaha lol seriuosly ask her out then see how she's REALLY feels about u?
