My boyfriend has nicknames for his girl friends?

Hi All,

So I asked my boyfriend to let me see his phone because I had a dream he was cheating! ( I know pretty crazy!) even though he has shown no signs of infidelity. I think it was the movie we watched the night before I went to bed. Anyways, I woke up so upset that I asked to see his phone he laughed and said okay. There was nothing incriminating except for a thread of message from a female coworker. They are both chefs and he is asking her “Hey sweetie, do you happen to know a recipe for this Italian appetizer we have to make?” I got super jealous at the fact he called her sweetie! She replied “hahaha ummm let me think…I can't remember what It was lol” he said that they just work together and nothing is going on. He has mentioned her before in the past and I was a bit jealous back then but didn’t bring it up but this time I'm upset…do I have a reason too? We are also having a baby and he hasn’t told anyone at his work? I am 26 years old and he’s 29yrs old. I feel like he’s hiding us, me and the baby, he said that he’s just private and doesn’t think people need to know his business. Am I tripping?

Nothing 2 worry about. Sounds like he's just private about sharing his personal life. I wouldn't stress on it too much. If it really bothers you, you could always just have a talk with him about it. Maybe he's just trying to wrap his head around that he's going to be a dad soon and is dealing with it in his own way (Is it his first one ?). Doesn't mean he's not thinking about you guys or trying 2 hide you guys. He might just be a little nervious about it. Talk with him & ask what's on his mind about how he's feeling about the whole thing. As far as calling this other girl sweetie it sounds like they are just really good friends that work together. If he really he had somthing to hide he would of not been comfortable showing you his phone when you asked. However, you are allowed to question things like that if its made you jealous or comfortable.

ABOUT IT BUT IF ITS HOS FIRST IT MIGHT HAVE THREW HIM OFF AND IT JUST HASN'T HIT HIM YET WHATS ABOUT TO HAPPEN.

THINK NOTHING OF HIM CALLING SWEETIE . JUST A NICKNAME . I'M SURE AT SOME TIME OR OTHER YOU'VE CALLED SOME GUY A PET NAME SUCH AS SWEETHEART OR SIMILIAR. BUT YOU HAD NO REAL FEELINGS TOWARDS THEM OTHER THAN BEING OUTWARDLY POLITE. AND BELIEVE IT OR NOT I'VE HEARD OF PEOPLE THAT ARE OR SAY THEY ARE LIKE YOUR Boyfriend BUT GENERALLY ITS NOT A COMMON THING.

IF ANYTHING WAS GOING ON HE WOULD BE VERY SECRETIVE ABOUT HIS PHONE AND PROBABLY WOULD HAVE BEEN UPSET ABOUT YOU ASKING TO SEE IT. SEEING HE WASN'T IS A GOOD SIGN FOR YOU.

It is out first. He told his friends and family right away even though I wanted to wait :) He said lets just get it over with. He did tell one girl at work he just told me. but that's it. YOu make a very good point! I guess I have nothing to wrry about. As far as me calling other peeps nickmase hun is as far as I go. Hun or kiddo :0

I THINK IT MAY BE STARTING TO HIT HIM WHATS HAPPENING . GIVE IT SOME TIME . ALSO START WATCHING SOME MOVIES ABOUT BABIES IT MAY GET HIM THINKING AND MAYBE ALITTLE MORE EXCITED.
