Girls: Why do you borrow... ahem "steal"... your boyfriend's clothes? Guys: Do you actually like seeing us wearing your clothes?

Girls: Whether that's hoodies. Or sweatpants. Or tshirts. What's your reason for wearing his stuff home?

Guys: What is it about us that makes you let us take your favorite hoodie home? Is it the whole claiming your territory (lack of a better metaphor)?

Haa, yes, from what I've seen, it is a way of "marking your territory". Guys enjoy seeing a girl wearing their clothes. It makes them feel like they... It has a certain effect... It varies person to person, but I feel special.

It also shows a girl doesn't mind wearing your clothes, much less going out in public and letting other people SEE them. I've seen that they intentionally make a statement. So "marked territory" goes both ways... Oh, that's interesting. I just realized that. :)

It's also a super turnoff to see a girl wearing some other guy's jacket, for example.

Honestly, the whole thing is just funny to me. I find it adorable when a girl wears their guy friend's over-sized jacket too. :)

yeah its a massive turn on for me to see a girl wearing my tshirt/shirt and sitting on bed :) even more so if i know her (only kidding).

but yeah, i would say most guys find it kinda cute when they get home and find their girl wandering around wearing their stuff.

its a pretty big double standard though. i can't think of any women that would be cool to come home and find their man doing the same (yet opposite) thing haha :P

i have some oversized stuff that I bought or i inherited from my brothers/dad/grandpa. my boyfriend wears it sometimes because it's the perfect size for him. i like the oversized feel so almost all my sweatshirts are large anyway. once my boyfriend went out wearing one of my large sorority sweatshirts without realizing it. haha i unintentionally marked my territory big time with that one.

I "steal" his clothes for a couple reasons.
1. He has really comfy clothes and I like wearing big hoodies and tshirts.
2. His clothes smell like him. Which is super awesome.
3. It's nice to have something of his around when I miss him.
