Why I believe in God - Raising the voice against the Atheists

You maybe a Christian, a Catholic, Protestant, Methodist, any other member of the Church or a person from some other religion. I wrote this to say that, I am that guy who watched my own people nod their heads, cover their faces and put on their hoodies when all the non-believers, atheists and anti-Christians humiliated our Lord and his words of holiness. At this moment itself there are people who blame at this post in abuse and point at the screen and say "Who's this psycho?". But, I won't give up, I won't be another who would hide my face in-front of the insulting, for I am not ashamed to speak of the faith I believe in!

Today the Christians have come to a position of zipping their mouths in-front of atheists. People are ashamed to say that they believe in God because the reply would be "God? Who is God? You ever seen him?". You believe that there's something call wind, you've ever seen wind? No, but you believe, why? Because you can feel it! Same way Christians cannot see God, but we believe in God because we can feel Him.

When a Christian say "God created the universe" a roar of laughter appears in the modern day. Scientists believe in the "Big Bang Theory", where the universe is believed to be created from a blast and its pressure keeps the universe still expanding. Then, where did the big bang come from? What was beyond the big bang? The Bible or any other Christian scripture does not say that God painted the universe with a brush or he sculptured the planets with a blade. Only thing we believe is that the universe was created with his power. So, the scientific big bang can be the way God created the universe.

Next, they ask "Where is God? In the sky?". The heavens are unseen, like you cannot see through a strong beam of light. Heaven is the home for the good souls, that's where God is. If you're a good scientist, you'll have to believe that there is life beyond earth, parallel worlds which are unseen, forces even greater than what we've discovered.

Science won't end, because every second there's something new to be discovered. Today's theory is different from the yesterday's one, it goes on like that forever. Why? You tend to believe only what is seen and dislike to believe things you can't see and you give up on things which your brain is unable to build a theory thinking that you'll become a loser.

A time will arrive, when science proves the existence of God. No one can say no because science cannot predict that exact day. The people of that age will laugh at your debates against God just like the way we laugh at the historical men who told that the earth is flat.

I will never give up on my faith for I experience God everyday. Know that, the more you get closer to your father, the more you'll know about him and the more you'll feel him.

Christians, wake up! Speak for your religion, share your experiences about God, don't let anyone humiliate our religion, and know that your reward in the heaven is greater than what is on earth. We've still got hope! I'm not ashamed to be a Christian, and I will never apologize for being a Christian.

I'm not against people who believe in higher power or God. But a peculiar similarity I have noticed in them is that they also tend to be hell bent on the fact that their God is true God and other faiths are inferior to them. All Abrahmic faiths have attitude like "ooh mislead sheeps, let's take them into our pack" about people of other faiths.

The point is that, science always progresses ahead. There's constant observation, conclusions and research happening. The older theories are easily replaced by newer theories. No such case with religion. People try to abide by what was given in some book written thousands of years ago even in 21st century. People who believe in Pseudoscience like flat earth exist.

Did any religious scripture "update" themselves after flat earth theory was debunked? Hardly.

If there is God, why there are so many religions? The reason is simple, people themselves shaped the higher power according their cultures. Which is the reason why Abraham faiths have similarities between them and so do Eastern faiths between themselves. For they were shaped by the culture and people living in that region.

First thing is that you are making it appear as if atheist are this large organize majority oppressing Christians. According to NPR, One in five Americans is religiously unaffiliated. Yet just one of 535 members of the new Congress is. Now an argument that religious people commonly make is their religion be oppressed due to the fact that prayer isn't allowed in public schools, holidays aren't specifically celebrated in public schools, and the one that I've seen from Prager University's video claiming that secularist want to eliminate Christmas by having Happy Holiday. But to refute this point I'll attack each of these. Prayer is allowed in public schools, but faculty members are not suppose to start it. The reason is because this is money from the federal government. And there is a separation of church and state. So if you really want to send your child to a school that prays, you should send them to a private school. Either that or accept that the entire school isn't going to host a prayer. Holidays being celebrated in school follows the same reason as above. Prager University claims that Happy Holiday is being exclusive. But the opposite is true. Holidays include Christmas, but if we say Christmas, we would be excluding people who celebrate Hanukkah and anybody else that doesn't celebrate Christmas. When you say "The Universe doesn't have a creator." a roar of laughter appears in the modern day.

I would like to first point out a common misinterpretation. A theory in science is a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world, based on a body of facts that have been repeatedly confirmed through observation and experiment. Such fact-supported theories are not "guesses" but reliable accounts of the real world. It can accurately make predictions that we could confirm. Also I notice that you seem to lack any knowledge of the big bang theory. The big bang started off in a period known inflation where it grew at a rate, unlike anything today...

Pressure isn't keeping the expansion going. It isn't slowing down. In fact, it's accelerating again. This is due to what scientist calls dark energy. Well the reason why science is changing is because we are learning things. According to Godel's incompleteness theorem, you can never be 100% sure of anything, you can only know form what you've observed. Actually if a time comes, science will embrace it. Most atheist are agnostic meaning they don't believe god exist until evidence shows itself. They would embrace it. We don't shy away because it's an opportunity to learn. It's like saying People will laugh at Newton because Einstein's was more accurate. Speaking of Einstein, we'll get to him soon.

I'm what I call a doubtful agnostic, or basically an atheist with enough humility to admit that no human can ever say for sure one way or the other. I could debate over the concept of religion with you all day, but I'll never tell you to stop believing whatever feels right to you. I'll present my end of the argument, maybe you'd agree, maybe you'd disagree. But as long as you've considered the argument, I can't tell you what conclusion to come to.

My biggest problem with religion comes when religious people expect everyone to go along with what they believe, not so much in scripture or anything like that, but general societal rules and laws. Society has to remain completely secular. I don't care if you're an ISIS terrorist, a Christian harassing women or doctors at abortion clinics, or a Jehovah's Witness knocking on my door with a pamphlet I don't want... please don't do that shit. Think what you want, talk about it amongst like minded people, but leave it there. Denounce it privately amongst yourselves but turn it completely off when you walk out of your home or house of worship and into the common world. And that goes for atheists too. Everyone shut the fuck up, keep it to yourselves, and don't let it affect your judgements of or dealings with other people. Basically, any behavior you have a problem with, just don't do it yourself. That's all you can hope to do without stepping on others' toes.

So I don't think you should be ashamed of your religion, nor anyone else of their beliefs or lack thereof. People should feel shame about their treatment of other people. If your god (or own personal moral compass if you're non-religious) compels you to behave within certain parameters, by all means, do it. Just don't ever let it affect the billions of other people on the planet👍

Yeah, of course I could have kept away from writing this, but it's an Atheist who encouraged me to do this. I was humiliated by an Atheist teacher at school, and I watched a video of an Atheist saying that Jesus did not exist. It's true that Atheists don't believe in Jesus, but you don't need to pop out stupid opinions like that right?

Well, I guess we'd disagree on the abortion issue in the sense that I don't really think it's anybody's duty to do anything but remain neutral and treat all people decently. It's kind of case in point that you bring it up though because it kind of IS your Christian values creeping across what I feel is a secular line. The protesters and even the loonies who shoot these places up are almost always Christian, no? And even then, I think the concept of god is behind the reasoning of most pro-lifers, regardless of which religion. I think the only duty we have as individuals is to mind our own business, and only abandon that principle to stop others who can't seem to mind their own business.

Science will never prove or disprove the existence of God. Period.

Anyway, from my perspective most of the issue people have between science and religion isn't the religion itself, it's those members of the religion that interpret their holy writings literally. For instance, I personally believe God caused the Big Bang. But, that's not what the Bible says. If I interpret the Bible literally, there's no possible way to be true to science.

I also find it ironic that you posted a quote from Einstein, who rejected both Judaism and Christianity. Was that on purpose?

Einstein was an Atheist I know that. He was wise man, if you read about him you'll even find an event where he argued with his lecturer about God. Even being an Atheist Einstein trapped him with some wise words which clipped the professor's mouth from humiliating monotheism.

So, yes, the first cause theory seems to indicate that there is a Creator, and that it created the universe out of nothing, a. k. a the Big Bang. However, what evidence is there that this God cares about humans? Keep in mind that as there is evidence for the Creator's existence, so should there be evidence It cares about humans.
Also, why on earth do Christians call God Him? Such a Being does not need to reproduce, therefore does not need a gender.

Yes. If I were to realize I don't need to reproduce, my concept of gender would die. Thus, an omnipotent being with no need to reproduce wouldn't apply the concept of gender to Itself either.
