Welcome
Welcome

So when your mind wanders, you think, and you analyze, and you rationalize...

Case in point..

http://www.the-prayer.info/our-father-prayer/

Our Father, Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name;
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Now I know you will be one of three people tomorrow morning...

I should of slept....
I should of slept....
these..Our Lord is our Sheppard
these..Our Lord is our Sheppard

or this....

President Trump will lead you to the light!
President Trump will lead you to the light!

But I digress..

Key points here..

forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us

Now what is "trespass"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trespass

https://www.thefreedictionary.com/trespass

and of course these:

https://www.biblestudytools.com/dictionary/trespass/

https://av1611.com/kjbp/kjv-dictionary/trespass.html

"1. Literally, to pass beyond; hence primarily, to pass over the boundary line of another's land; to enter unlawfully upon the land of another."

For if ye forgive men their TRESPASSES, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: but if ye forgive not men their TRESPASSES, neither will your Father forgive your TRESPASSES. ( Matthew 6:14-15 )

So basically, someone does us wrong, it is in Gods us to "Forgive those who trespass against us"..

What would this imply?

https://www.openbible.info/topics/trespassing

What would temptation be? But again. I digress

Forgive those who trespass against us. You are "Violating a boundary" Bullying someone based on their belief would be "trespass" because you violated a boundary. Then it states, forgiveness..

https://www.jw.org/en/bible-teachings/questions/what-is-forgiveness/

Forgiveness is the act of pardoning an offender. In the Bible, the Greek word translated “forgiveness” literally means “to let go,” as when a person does not demand payment for a debt. Jesus used this comparison when he taught his followers to pray: “Forgive us our sins, for we ourselves also forgive everyone who is in debt to us.” (Luke 11:4) Likewise, in his parable of the unmerciful slave, Jesus equated forgiveness with canceling a debt.—Matthew 18:23-35.

Turn the other cheek. At what point does a person say, I'm tired of turning the other cheek? When someone is bullied and harassed, turning the other cheek many times is not an option.
