Judah Iscariot’s error in understanding God

In the bible, a worshiper uses alabaster perfume to anoint Jesus and Judas Iscariot asks why the money was not given to the poor since the perfume was so expensive and the way that Jesus responded was, you can always chase Charity but you can’t always chase God so there is nothing wrong with choosing to sometimes prioritize God over Charity.

I’ve met Christians who think that unless you are pursuing humanitarian atrocity pain alleviation, your not a legitimate believer but Jesus said the greatest and largest of all spiritual trees begins with the smallest and weakest of all seeds and the minor prophets said not to despise small beginnings, like the tiny panda baby that grows up to be one of the rarest beauties on earth, religion is valuable in itself, and not purely as an adhesive for social reckoning.

Didn't Jesus respond: "You always have the poor with you. You don’t always have me.”?

Which foreshadowed him being betrayed and crucified. In other words basically "Our remaining time together is rare and limited. The woman did good by choosing to honour me right now at this moment, because there isn't always a next time."
=> We can always do the abstract action of "giving money to charity" since there are always people in need, but sometimes there is a limited time opportunity to do really important good deed/proove faith so we shouldn't just routinely donate and then ignore everything else.

I was taught by Jesuits in High School and one of the interesting discussions we had was this question: Did Judas Iscariot go to heaven or to hell?

Hell seemed to be the obvious answer, since Judas turned Jesus into the authorities for money. But it was pointed out that someone had to do that since Jesus had to be caught in order to be crucified, so Judas did nothing more than carry out God's plan.
