In John 16:33, the bible says:
33 "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
The way I view the trouble is that you will face problems by wicked people because of the selfishness of those that do not accept or acknowledge your God.
My connection with God fearing souls has always been blissful but my connection with non religious people has always been bad.
They do not respect my boundaries, always think they know more than me, and do not give me a right to disagree with them when my values don’t match with theirs. They are also too stupid and arrogant to consider or know what is in my best interest and have no sense of discretion when they socially interact with me.
Like my cousin will run her mouth in public when we take walks in my neighbourhood and not consider that I might run into somebody I know and if I tell her something I want to keep a secret she will share it with others because she is too stupid to know I want to keep it hidden.
Like I told her if my parents move into a smaller place, I will buy my own house and not live with them. I wanted to keep that hidden from my family but she told them what I said today without my permission cause she was too stupid to know I wanted to hide that from them.
When yahoo answers was around, 99% of the people who moved questions to other categories without permission were non believers because you can’t have real faith in God unless your willing to respect personal and emotional boundaries.

My thoughts...
"The way I view the trouble is that you will face problems by wicked people because of the selfishness of those that do not accept or acknowledge your God."
- we're all inherently sinners, and the bible i've read would caution against any of us trying to judge "sinner" vs. "wicked" vs. whatever label you wanna put on it.
My connection with God fearing souls has always been blissful but my connection with non religious people has always been bad.
- reading the NT, that sounds to me like 100% opposite of Christ's experiences on earth
... for that 2nd part of my comment, of course none of us are Christ or should try to hold ourselves to that standard, but my point is time & time again in the NT he had much greater interest in spending time with the "sinners" than the "righteous" and I think that's a big reason the modern evangelical movement rings hollow for so many, and why "christians" will always be working against themselves until they can move beyond *reading* Jesus' words and actually living it out in real life.
