Another reason people are miserable in the later years - bible talk

All the miserable people I know over the age of 34 have one thing in common, which is that they refuse to let other people be happy.

I asked my dad to drive me to a bubble tea shop because I had a friend who worked there and said she would help me get a job there so I convinced my dad to buy me a bubble tea so I would have permission to sit in the restaurant and talk to the employees and when I walked out and told my dad my friend who wanted to act as my reference could not help me cause she was not at work that day, my dad dumped the bubble tea onto the pavement and told me I did not deserve to drink it.

My dad is one of the most miserable people I know because he hates a ton of people at work and lives with a woman who hates and abuses him and he tells me every day he is embarrassed I’m his daughter because I’m not a surgeon or an engineer.

My mom will not let me watch tv for more than one hour a day while she watches tv for 6 hours a day because my mother says she does not want me to add to her energy bill by watching tv and my mother is jobless and relies entirely on my dads income.

She is also miserable, she hates every female on earth that is richer or prettier than her, including me when I was a child, her nieces, her in laws, and even 3 year old children who visit our home. She is comfortable and able to eat good food and all she does is spend 7 hours a day hating and complaining and judging and condemning.

The reason older people are unhappy is that they refuse to let other people be happy.
