Why God doesn’t immediately give you what you want

Yesterday I had a very blissful and happy dream of sailing over water, followed by a very serious warning from God to avoid the guy I like because he had problems I did not know about.

Then this afternoon, as I was washing dishes, I became angry that the dishes were so tiresome to hold, and I had never been angry like that in the past and it’s due to the fact my super happy dream the night before had turned me into a spoiled brat who became angry when my expectations were not met.

For years, I could not attract good looking guys because I did not have the patience to spend an hour a day in the gym or to get up for a morning walk when I was tired. And for years, I had difficulty making friends because I could not tolerate flawed people and I avoided marriage and pregnancy by not dating because I did not want to experience labour pains while giving birth.

I realize, God denied me things to prevent me from being a spoiled and self entitled brat and so I would learn to serve others instead of serving my own interests all the time.

I struggle a lot with that wanting instead of what I need. But God in the bible even said my thoughts are NOT your thoughts my WANTS is not your wants...
God gonn let you do what you do (free will) but if you asked him on it (praying about it) then God gonna be honest. And sometimes he does interfere because he SIMPLY CARES FOR YOU. Is this man abusive is there things you don't know about this man God know how y'all relationships is gonna be before you know how it's gonna be and just because he don't answer don't always mean a no it's just not THE RIGHT TIME he's never late or early in anything but always RIGHT ON TIME even when we want it then

God does not interfere with mankind, so he doesn't give or deny you anything. He doesn't need to.

God created mankind to have *absolute* free will, and so the fruits of your labor are not "given" to you... they have always been there! You only need to work for it, and we give our thanks that he has made these things accessible... You don't thank him for giving you anything other than the spirit that drives you to work for it.

Of course, this is my understanding.
It makes the most sense to me.

Yes, I’m not saying wanting your own family and fertility is selfish, but I mean, I’ve been denied a marriage by my circumstances not setting me up with love and my career has been delayed so it’s a test of patience.

It is a huge test, and it's totally normal to want these things. But God has a plan for us.

Other then that, from nothing comes nothing. You can't sit around all day and expect the things you want to fall from heaven. It doesn't happen, you have to put in the work and effort

Be patient, God want to check your patience, don't be disappointed, God never disappoint good people, keep on praying wholeheartedly, you will get your required reward. May God Bless you with your reward

I’ve never been given anything, I always had to do it myself, I do ask him or her but nothing changes. I basically believe God helps those that helps themselves
