At what age do Muslim women start wearing head scarves?

A coworker is Muslim. His wife chooses to cover her hair in a wrap. He has two young boys and a baby daughter. The daughter just turned 1. Her hair isn't covered. Is there a certain age when a female begins to cover her hair?

My coworker is very open and eager to educate but I still think this is a weird question to ask him lol

Following the proper Quran it's supposed to be puberty or time of first bleeding. That is when they become a woman & what the hijab is meant for. A woman. Not a child.

Following the teachings of the prophet, just an Arab who found a fledging culture and why there are secondary books to relate his 'teachings' to the Quran, it's as young as 7.

For a Muslim woman to cover her hair, it is not compulsory but more of a privilege or right that she has. So it can be any age she wishes or even not at all. :)

After she turned 9 years most of parents want their girl child to wear hijaab and cover the every body parts which could lure men towards them and that includes "EYES" too...

And according to Quran women should not wear tight clothes as her body shape can be seen and calculated they are ordered to wear loose clothes

" like in one outfit two people can adjust"

But now a days Muslims are no longer behaving like true Muslimah (Muslims) no orders are followed, no advices are taken for granted and no respect is given or taken.. and I think there are only 1 % of Muslims left with true , honest and obesity towards the religion and holy book Quran...

And I'm also in that 99% percent who tends to ingore just because I don't like it... And it's a very big sin for us and now I'm trying to change myself but i think it's too late for a change but still I'm trying harder and harder..!
