I had a dream where God said to forget the law of attraction, to forget all my teaching on inspiration and higher thinking, there was only one thing I needed to know which is that “I will reap what I sow.”

My theory is the dream is saying to focus on biblical wisdom, biblical relationships and biblical gifts and to exclude all other things

What we know: If we sow the purest of seeds, we get the best crops. To get the purest seeds one has to go to that which created the seeds as the source.


Examples of sowing seeds: words from the mouth, what we do at work, how we treat people. Even the food or water we put inside our bodies is seed that can affect our health. Our thoughts produce seed. In Galations 5:19-21 we see examples of acts of the flesh that produce bad seed. If we mix what is from God and what is from the world. You have the word of God and his Holy Spirit as the best sources, blending it in with the worlds ideas taints the purity of it. If one wants to find out if good advice matches with biblical wisdom, it would be a matter of searching for it before sharing the idea with kids or other people etc.

I think that going after your goals, and figuring out how to achieve your goals the hard way, is a lesson from earlier in life.

Nowadays, no. Forget it. It's not what God or the universe wants from you. It is time to go back to the land. Go back to simplicity. I have heard the same message.

Your theory is close. What you sow comes back. Law of attraction is just believing: believe in God, and all else will fall into place.
