Which is more important, God or Your Children?

Question

For the religious believers , I’m not trying to rattle the cage but hoping to understand the way you see the world. It’s a common saying that it’s God first then your family second. Now, we don’t always agree with our family members but the children in the family seem like the innocent ones.

So, If god told you to abandon your duties as a parent/ guardian to a child ( place them in a group home or leave them with someone else) and became a missionary or prophet for the rest of your life. What would you do? And more importantly , Why?

If your children are good people and you put an imaginary god before them, you're a piece of shit. You're not going to hell but you will be putting them and yourself through a living hell by not pulling your head out of your ass. Try living in the real world where people matter and not in an imaginary world in your idiot mind. Heaven and hell are not above or below you, but here on earth. You can choose which one you want to live in by trying to live a good life, be a good person, and good to others; or not trying to improve your situation, or being a piece of shit to others. It's your choice.

Well, hopefully God can forgive me for putting my kids first, and if not... well, guess I will be burning soon enough, lol.

God sent his only son to die for the sins of man, meaning he knew I would defy his request not only because of free will, but out of love and loyalty to my own flesh and blood. So if he truly wants to cut me down for not doing what Abraham was willing to do, guess that's his call at the end of the day.

I’m not exceptionally religious, and I’m terrible for reading an entirety of a question. But I’d guess religious people would see it as god created my children, so I choose god. But not in the sense of god being better, but instead god being a massive part of them. If that makes sense?

So you are not choosing over your kids, your choosing the entity that cares and created your kids.

Serving God means to carry one's duties and responsibilities. That is to one's family, friends, society and to God.

If you read up on the prophets, they didn't live life like hermits. They were all family men, businessmen, and men of God, all while living in their communities.

God would ask the opposite, he will advice me to love my kid and take good care of him if i do really love him...
