It used to be until 9/11 destroyed not just US culture but the entire western culture and their traditions. Professors are now lying (or whitewashing, I should say) and saying people like Jefferson and the Constitution are NOT Christian.
Simple, the people who came over on the Mayflower and other ships came to escape oppression of their religion in England. It was them and descendants who founded our nation in 1776 on religious principals. Look at our coins - In God We Trust.
@Daniela1982 They left England over Religion (forced to be Catholic ) and Taxes. They started the greatest creation known to man. Sure the Native Americans were mistreated and we had slavery at one point , and yes women were treated like cattle. But all those things were corrected and all countries did the same things. The US was different as we corrected those errors. Because US changed , other countries changed their ways.
@888theGreat um as a native indigenous myself i have stay the facts are that those pilgrims and their descendants actually, didn't practice what they preached because they did the shit to my indigenous ancestors as was done to them and as evidence the body counts of the trails of tears which by the way have never ended not for one single native ever as evidenced as well by the children in cages during trumps days... otherwise i agree with you, though had those things been corrected i wouldn't have be able to readily contest the conflictions of what you claim. we natives are still being mis-treated as the nearest one to you and they will tell you the same.
@Daniela1982 principles be one thing practice may well be another and henceforth we see the actuality of just because a thing is supposed to be doesn't always mean it comes to actuality lol.
Never understood that conservative rationale. 50 individual govts. My brother is in medicaid and we moved states and it was a fckin nightmare. Simply because each state govt handles it differently…
Yes, there are 50 individual state governments. That's part of the system being the United States of America.
However, not what I was saying. The USA isn't one national anymore. It's one country, sure. However it is one country with multiple nations residing inside it and vying for power and attacking each other. A nation is not the same thing as a country.
The idea was to prevent one group of people from trampling over others and prevent drastic changes. That's why it's not too hard to pass a law in a state, but passing it federally is much harder. That's also why more populous states get more votes in the House of Representatives, but every state has equal representation in the Senate.
What are you talking about? Tons of people relocate for better jobs or such. Though personally I like the idea of having roots in your area more and being around friends/family.
I don't think thats a bad thing if true. I'd much rather people be inclined to stay by their families and towns where they have history than relocate to where they have no roots.
It’s built on the church because of 1700s and God and stuff
but people argue it’s not a Christian church 🤷♂️

We are a nation of individuals that believe in God. In our own way in our own right. We are a nation of God fearing people. It varies pertaining to our religious dictates.
A Christian nation with their balls in the clasps of Jewish Israel.

America is a delusional nation.
you're not wrong. But we run the world. So suck it.
Christianity is an evil religious cult meant to brainwash the confused
Environmentalism is the evil religion that brainwashed the impressionable people. You are young and confused.
@888theGreat I was also joking too lmao
No, absolutely not. Anyone who thinks otherwise is clueless/deluded.
No - we separate church and state thank God.
It likes to "think" it is in a lot of places.
It used to be until 9/11 destroyed not just US culture but the entire western culture and their traditions. Professors are now lying (or whitewashing, I should say) and saying people like Jefferson and the Constitution are NOT Christian.
America was Built on Biblical Principles and that is why it is considered a Christian Nation!
Please prove.

We are running on the fumes of being a Christian Nation
Sad, possibly an over-simplification, but nevertheless, accurate.
Yeah... it is very sad
It started out as a christian nation. Now it is multiple nations inside one country, vying for power over each other.
Never understood that conservative rationale. 50 individual govts. My brother is in medicaid and we moved states and it was a fckin nightmare. Simply because each state govt handles it differently…

Heah and im aaying I dont understand it. wouldn't one representative govt be better than 50?
The idea was to prevent one group of people from trampling over others and prevent drastic changes. That's why it's not too hard to pass a law in a state, but passing it federally is much harder. That's also why more populous states get more votes in the House of Representatives, but every state has equal representation in the Senate.
And there's a reason why people dont move for better jobs. Becauase each state is like a separate country.
What are you talking about? Tons of people relocate for better jobs or such. Though personally I like the idea of having roots in your area more and being around friends/family.
Not really. Majority are in a bubble they rarely leave. Google it.
I don't think thats a bad thing if true. I'd much rather people be inclined to stay by their families and towns where they have history than relocate to where they have no roots.
If it keeps them off my favorite Mallorca beach

It started that way, liberal and socialist influence has messed the USA up
I would love if that were the truth.
A Christian nation with their balls in the clasps of Jewish Israel.

No that god doesn't support the 1st amendment
yes. they aren't a secular country.
Yes, based on the founders of the nation.
Wrong. Neither the Bible nor God are mentioned anywhere in the Constitution.
