Can a an evil person or a person who is considered evil a criminal or just a plain bad person truly become good trough a god or religion with rehab.
From a law enforcement standpoint, your criminal history stays with you no matter how much you change for the better.
As a Christian, there is a term called “legality”. This is the idea that a person can be forgiven of their sins if they just try to do good works; read their Bible, go to church, give to charity, etc. While these are good things to do, they are not what saves a person from sin. It is through the belief in the power of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the cross that saves a person.

If they've truly changed, they'll understand why they're being punished and they can accept their punishment in prison and keep growing as a person.
No when it’s forced on you in a situation of prison and you are told getting involved with it will get you out faster then it’s gonna be an act until they are free they may continue the godly feeling a few weeks or months after but in the end they return to their old ways
You mean, if someone that murdered 60 people on a bus gets brainwashed into believing that Humpty Dumpty really exists, we should just forget all about their transgression let them go? NO!
