Superstitious... or not?

In the name of Saint Patrick's day... is there a y superstitious people here? I am Irish and was raised in the thick of superstitions and mythical folklore. I know them all and indeed am very superstitious myself

Name some of the superstitions you believe in or think are ridiculous... Do you believe in Leprechauns?

Alas, I am but a disinherited Irish descendant, in love eith my ancestry but scored by my native born kin I have found. I dream to one day come to Ireland, with a stone from here in the Yukon, to lay upon the moujd in County Sligo, to drink at the tavern of 900ad in I know not where, to sleep in damp ditches in rural places in the rain, because rain is my blood. To look up the Kellys hahahaha, little refugees of war, to pick my own thornwood and to fashion my own Shilleigliegh, to play and sing with elders, to hear tales and history, to come know my own heart lost akd find my craic. Were Canada to repatriate me to Ireland, I would leave my shit and go tomorrow and never return. And of course, as all lost Irish children, to meet an Irish wife would be for me to die a happy man. Please send second hand tweed <3

I know Ireland is not what I romanticize but I am poor man of simple means and easy to please, I believe the Irish would he surprised would they could be for so many culturally estranged. Let me earn am Aran sweater from a honest weeks work, let me be inspired in what little celtic knotwork I have learned, or Gaelic I would love to learn. I could go on... Dm me if I am not patronizing you, for cultural exchange :)

Of course, it's hard not to be when born and raised in rural Ireland. Whether it's magpies, Holly trees, fairy rings/mounds, Banshee crying/screaming or nature.

I'm not affected by those superstitions as I was not raised around those.

All my childhood I've been praised for my intelligence but I never saw it in my grades and I tend to do the stupidest things among my peers.
