Do you agree with the bible when it says not to worry about food or water or clothing but only about the will of God?

The bible says not to worry what you will eat and I find that I can never plan what I will eat cause my plan always changes.

I think God changes my plan on purpose because God wants me to look to him for my basic needs and not to my own pride and ego and native born ability to get my own dietary resources.

This is a lesson in trust. I've heard of two people who said that God told them to buy homes when they did not have jobs, later God gave them all the money they needed to pay off their mortgage and they paid it off.

I am a Muslim, and we do have a similar concept in Islam with a little bit extra. We believe that with the belief in Allah, you have to put effort in real-time. It’s not like you can just believe that Allah will provide for you and sit on the couch waiting for your food. Do you think Allah will drop food from heaven directly into our mouths? No, it only happened with the people of Moses (peace be upon him). So have faith and simultaneously work hard.
