This morning at work, a guy came in and asked me "Did you talk to God this Morning"? I hesitated and said no. He said something along the lines of I needed to get right and stuff because the end is coming soon. How can one know if another person is "right" or not? He talked about I need to be sinless, which is virtually impossible because growing up Christian I know that it is taught that no one is sinless. I mean... I just think it was very inappropriate although people have the right to do that. However, If I said the same thing to him I would be in hot water with corporate.
There is a difference doing it while working for a company and being a random believer on the street which is why you would be in hot water for a company like you say.
To answer your question however, no. The closest I had was being a man og God myself, I was approached by a random teenager. Never met him before, he was waiting for a friend and saw me working. Don't know what had him do it, but he came up and asked me for my name and asked if he could say a prayer for me because he felt I was dealing with a lot and having a tough time (which I was) and I stood there in silence as he said one for me and he went on his way.
It was easily one of the nicest things, if not the kindest thing a stranger did for me and I felt very good after that. Haven't seen that kid since, but I hope he is doing well wherever he is.
Now if we are talking about some random person trying to preach their views on you and you are the antithesis to what they are preaching, yes, it is unwarranted and rude. Happened back when I was in uniform and some old liberal professor was sitting by me on the bus and telling me I had a lot to learn and saying I was misguided. That rubbed me the wrong way. Given the fact that the city I live in has had a track record for being unkind to servicemen.

I've had this happen with people that came into my front door and wanted to come into my home so they could preach to me. I'm very polite to them because I know they mean well but they are never allowed in my house and only allowed on my property for a brief time.
I've only had it happen in public. Once when someone walked up to me and decided I would be a good person to convert or at least preach to. I almost came to blows with this person because they kept following me and screeching in my ear. I finally quietly told the guy that if he didn't move away from me and find somebody else to talk to, he was going to get badly hurt. Luckily for both of us he listened and moved away.
Many times! Walking around the shop, to my mental health nurse etc. 😂

Not really. I think the most that's happened is a few months ago when I was out at a coffee shop. This girl came up to me, asked me if I was aware that I would die someday, and then she handed me a tract (which I didn't end up reading). That's basically it though.
never happened to me. instead of saying: no, just say "i am busy". do not engage with such people.
"she did... last night..."
Once. It didn't go well for that guy. He left very angry and crying.
Well sinless is impossible but not all Christians were meant to be preachers I guess lol
Nope. It happened in town once. I just pretended not to speak English.
