Why are Christians trying to control people's bodies?

So the sad thing is we all live in this society that seemingly has Christians that are always trying to control our bodies esp us women. Like they don't want us to ever have abortions or cut our hair short to what men has theirs..

When it comes to men if a man was to paint his nails, dye his hair, grow his hair out to the length that is beyond shoulder length they say its a sin.. Even if they act the littlest bit feminine its a sin..

It’s pretty simple. Christian conservatives live with an intentionally isolated mindset with a big focus on their faith. It was an argument 300 years ago on whether to separate church and state, and these kinds of people are a product of outdated times and values.
Just imagine if you were raised in a traditional household, perhaps with strong gender roles and other conservative values. Your parents and surroundings will be a big influence on your prospective views. So if your parents say that being gay is wrong or abortion is murder or what have you, chances are you’ll take on all those beliefs. We are not original thinkers. And especially for women in conservative cultures, they don’t always have the choices or independence men do, further isolating them from novel debates or other forms of critical thinking and intellectual challenge.
Most major religions are inherently patriarchal and sexier in how they value women, even treating women like second-class citizens or worse.
These values are not (in my opinion) made with the intellect in mind. What matters to this type is emotional thinking and moral outrage, based on their culture.

I don't know what Christians say about cutting or growing hair. I mean Jesus is always shown with long hair. But how he really looked is a mystery. But, you have two choices. You can follow men's ways, or God's rules that He made for His creation. Whichever you choose to follow will determine your path after death. No one is going to throw you in jail for cutting your hair, painting your nails, getting an abortion, or being gay. Not yet anyway. The way the world is going you never know what is going to hit you next. Any Christians during the Tribulation will be killed. Maybe that will make you happy?

We aren't trying to control your bodies we are trying to help you to control it yourself, we just want you to see the value in your body having purity and to embrace that purity, trust me that we wish we didn't have to tell you anything but letting you ruin yourself is unfortunately against our beliefs, just know next time a Christian speaks to you about such things, it's cause he sees your value as a human being and not as a sex toy, even if sometimes it comes out harsh or full of their own emotions.

It's not about your body, it's about your life and your choice to not be a mother.

The fact is the vast majority of women who choose abortion do so for reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with their bodies and everything to do with convenience.

You are complaining about people who don’t want you to murder your own baby? You think that is “controlling”? Do you think we should let murderers and other criminals out of their cells to roam free because keeping them locked up is too controlling? Even many of the worst serial killers are not sick enough to kill their own baby. So how sick does that make you? Anyone who has had an abortion deserves to be locked up for life, or the death penalty.
