Especially like myself, I've tried to learn as much as I can from my aging old man (while he's still as active and as mobile as any other average person, no walker and no cognitive decline, slight hearing loss perhaps?) from things like automotive maintenance, general maintenance around the house. To save on paying trades and paying others to do work some can do themselves "the basics" of course, nothing involving things best left to the professionals and the experts aka qualified people. I just mean basics like anything from basic car oils and basic maintenance, through to those chores you just learnt with life experience or being shown. Anyways, I liked having a slight sob today in the shower, just thinking how I'm now 30s and it's nice to still appreciate "a slight sob" from time to time to appreciate one's own ego mixed with others eventual mortality (aging) like whenever the day is (and however old I am myself) if my old man ever declines (put into a home) or passes away from old age. Yeah...😭😅 It's as much reflection as much as still appreciating while I've got what I've got before it's ever gone whether long time or short time, who ever knows as they say what's behind any curve or stray corner. Anyways 🧐 especially as I'm still 30s and, sure, to a degree I've been 'spoonfed' a lot until the last couple years after Covid I've been wanting to appreciate (which I already was) how time passes by. Especially 2022 onwards, the irony of the Queen not even making it to 100, sigh. Anyways. It's like extending car longevity, as another used car is still pricey compared to maintaining an existing with regular servicing by professionals and oil changes when due, new parts not unreliable ones. Etc. no advice lol - I've never wanted to be "that guy" who's been cotton wooled too often and couldn't take over the farm from day 1, there is no farm, yet you get the meaning, and life is so unpredictable, it's comforting to feel more educated than starting from scratch

There was a woman I knew from grade school, that remembered me, and sent me a Facebook request. I accepted it, and then I added her on Snapchat. Some months after that, she responded to one of my snaps stories, I think I said something that could have been construed as being hard on myself, and she just said something nice. I explain the rest short and too the point

I started to comment on her snaps more often, I don't know why, because I don't see her in person, or know her like that, and she would respond every time.

I then started to like her, I would basically tell her that she looked pretty a couple of times, and she would respond with hearts each time. I would also comment on stuff other than her appearance, and she appeared to enjoy talking to me. Would use emojis, exclamation marks, semicolons, said a decent amount most of the time, and the other times she would just like the message (if there was nothing to say I guess). Also would say more than just a simple thank you when I would compliment her. Would be like a thank you and the something else after it.

She frequently watches my stories, I don't know if its because she's just curious, but she replied to a few more of my stories and complimented me a couple more times, saying she thought I was nice, sincere, and she thought something about my appearance looked fine (I think it was my hair, cuz I cut it, and posted it for no real reason, just having fun, and she basically said it looked better before I cut it, but that it still looked fine. I figured she was just being nice, and trying to make me feel good. She never said that I was handsome or anything, so I figured she doesn't find me physically attractive. She never asked me out on a date either. Should I still have asked her out? I don't want any girl to be potentially upset, and feel like you can't even be nice or have casual convo without someone making someone more of it, if they don't feel the same way?

Say that you are going home after visiting your friend's apartment, You had a nice evening and talking loads, she's showing you photo albums of her work and colleagues.

Then it's time to head home. Usually, She would open the door and let you out, therefore being quite close to you as you leave but in my case, she stood across the room (about the length of a regular sized coffee table) and seems like she was waiting for something.

I opened the door and stood there waiting to say something to her but instead I went up and hugged her again before I left her home.

Obviously I want to believe that she might be into me but I don't want to jump to conclusions and get my hopes up. Either that, I've watched too many romcoms
