Moderate Feminism Is Just As Bad!

Today there are more and more cases of feminists trying to convince people (usually men) that they object to radical feminism, which is all about man hating, but that moderate feminism is all about equality and is still needed in the West. But this is another crafty deception that feminists want you to fall for. Remember, when feminists are trying to convince you to believe something, the devil is always in the details.

For years I have challenged "moderate" feminists with the same question: "If you are only after equality then why don't you call yourself an equalist instead of a feminist"? The most common reply I get is because women are still being oppressed and therefore more attention should be given to help women achieve equality. First of all, this is another feminist lie that keeps getting repeated. In the West I see women getting more privileges and special treatment than men. The wage gap is also a myth that has been debunked numerous times. And it's interesting that not once have I ever witnessed feminists protesting outside family courts demanding equal rights for fathers. Not once! When I put this to "moderate" feminists all they do is deny it. They just outright dismiss the idea that family courts discriminate against fathers. If they admit and acknowledge that fathers have less rights than mothers, then they will have to give an account as to why they haven't done anything to help fathers get equal rights. So in order to justify their passiveness, they just pretend that there's no discrfimination against fathers and that mothers do not have more rights. Trust me, it's a lie!

Another thing to realize is this: Feminism, whether morderate or radical, still encourages women to put education and career before marriage and motherhood. People need to understand that feminism goes much deeper than "all we want is equality." Feminism often encourages women to see marriage and motherhood as oppression and men as the oppressors. It encourages women to believe that there are no differences between men and women except for their anatomy, that there's no shame in being promiscuous, no shame in having an abortion, and that men are not needed because big brother government will be your provider. Yes, all these warped ideologies come from both moderate and radical feminists. So please don't be fooled into thinking that moderate feminism is any better than radical feminism. It's a lie.

I'll say it again, if you believe in equality then call yourself an EQUALIST. An equalist is someone who fights for both men's and women's rights, whereas feminists mostly fight for women's rights. Where in Western society do women have less rights than men? I just don't see it. What I do see is women getting more help and support from big brother government while men continue to be demonised.

So please, don't allow anyone to brainwash you into believing that moderate feminism is only about equality and has nothing to do with radical feminism. They are the same face just wearing a different mask. Do not be fooled.

I'm perfectly egalitarian, but I don't subscribe to anti-feminist rhetoric. I give the same consideration to MRAs.

To be anti- one or the other, is to be the opposite of an equalist.
At the end of the day you have to be open to the concerns and ideas of both side, and make sound judgements.

Feminists do acknowledge issues in the family courts that are unfair to fathers. Even all the way back in 2013.
The difference is, feminists paint the same enemy differently. However, it's still the same enemy; a misconception in society of the roles of men and women. One that you see constantly perpetuated here.

It may sound like women are against women taking care of children and family. But it's not what you think.
It's that women should not have only that option. Not every woman is qualified to raise a child. In plenty of cases child custody should go to the father, not the mother.

There is a lot of suspicion that women who choose the life of stay-at-home caretaker are not doing so independently or thoughtfully, when they should be making an informed and independent decision about their lifestyle if they choose to stay at home.
And this goes both ways. You also see it in MRA circles.

You are right that feminism is geared and structured to handle women's issues, and that it is about women. That's what feminism was designed to do, and it was about equalizing men and women when it first began because there was a clear discrepancy.
Feminism isn't designed to deal with men's issues. And it probably never will be. Then it'd be hi-jacked by men.

There are groups and movements gaining prominence that are equipped to handle men's issues. However, they do fall into the same issues of extremists and blamers that feminism has had to deal with.
Even more so, because a lot of these groups are reactionary to feminism.

As for women being completely equal in the west, that's a gray area. There's still a lot of issues with misconceptions in our society. Unfair consideration of both the sexes. Biases. Things of the like.
Also, there are still a lot of push for regulations on the female body. Abortion, planned parenthood, birth-control pills, public breastfeeding. Some of them are gray areas, but others aren't. BC for women does more than prevent birth.

I think the West is screwed up. I identified a a feminist for a while, but I started seeing how many women get away with little to no punishment for crimes men would be locked up for, or how many men loose custody of their children to women who are less fit to raise them. I think every group has it's disadvantages, but I do feel straight white men have less.

The last thing you can ever expect from a self-proclaimed feminist is rationality.

We all know that feminism is, at its core, a hate group. Their primary agenda is the aggrandizement of women at the expense of men. Remember, it always has to be at the expense of men because we are the oppressors. The black author Toni Morrison, when asked what it would take to end racism, said that racism could only end when white men had suffered to her satisfaction. This is precisely how feminists view their "struggle." They not only want women to succeed, but they want men to suffer at the same time.

Good points and you are right about the fact that modern feminism is for the most part problematic as whole, for the reasons that you mention, the only feminism that was really making an sense was the first-wave feminism. Unlike you I honesty think that radical feminism is worse, but it don't make "moderate" feminism good, it's kinda black and gray morality, and the more radical that an feminist gets, then the more black/worse she becomes.

All these isms in the modern world just spell one thing and I've been around long enough to know, piss on the white male. It's doesn't matter what movement is on the go. It's all aimed either in part or exclusively at the straight, white male in society. Racists are behind all these movements. I don't know where you live, but in my neck of the woods feminists do tremendous work to help many different groups, like gay community, minorities etc. They are most certainly not interested only in themselves. They are often the first to speak up about injustices.
The word feminism is used because when the movement started, women had no basic human rights so it was logical that the fight for equality was focused on women's rights.

It become mostly useless after women in the west get all the rights that men have, but modern feminists are trying to stay relevant by making conspiracies. Most of the truly decent "feminists" are not even calling themselves feminists, those are women that serve in the armed forces, and women who are professional basketball players, and other roles of that sort, instead of complaining and hating almost all the time, those women are simple live their life in an "original feminist" way.
