Why I think ugly celebrities are deliberately created

She's gonna be pissed I used her for this but...

1. It gives regular people hope and self-confidence. I personally don't think it's well founded, but whatever.

2. They're an acquired taste. Once you get bored of the obviously hot people, you have these slow release fertilizers to really savour.

3. Sales. See 1.

4. Entertainment. See 2.
