Here are things that people say about bi/pan people that I absolutely hate! (coming from a pan herself)
1. You're confused.
This is probably said to almost everyone who is gay, lesbian, trans, bi, etc. IT PISSES ME OFF. Yeah, some people are confused/experimenting. But if they've hidden it their whole life and felt that way from when they were young, I don't think they're confused.
2. It's just a phase
Bitch stop! Just stop!!! Don't say that!
3. Bisexuals are more likely to cheat.
That isn't true at all! Yes, there are more options for cheating, but that is a dumb-ass thing to say. Just because I like both, doesn't mean I'm more likely to cheat. Anyone can cheat. It depends on your personality as to whether you're gonna cheat or not.
4. You just want attention/want to be different.
Excuse me, but why would I want to be any different than I already am? Why would I want any attention? If I got any attention at all, most of it would be negative, probably. So I'm gonna ignore you and wave my flag around in your motherfucking face :*
5. You could pull off being straight.
Basically saying, since you like both genders, you could just pull off being straight and not have to worry about coming out to your family or friends or whatever. But hello, that's the point... That's why I'm bi; it's because I'm attracted to the opposite and same gender. Why would I try to pull off being straight? It doesn't make sense. I will date who I wanna date and you're gonna deal with it.
6. You're just gay but don't want to admit it.
What the hell? Whyyyyy. If I'm coming out as bi, I'm bi. If I were lesbian (or gay), why would I say I were bi? I would just come out as lesbian! Hello!?
7. Decide on one gender.
OH MY LORD. That's the point. I don't just like one gender, I like both. It's as simple as that.
8. Do you like guys or girls more?
SHUT UP! I like both equally! In some cases when someone is "bi-curious" they like one more than the other, but that's why they're called curious!
9. Why are you bi?
That's like saying "Why are you straight?" I don't have to effing explain that! I literally just have to say, "I'm sexually attracted to boys and girls." There, that's why. If you still don't understand, then fuck off. And, I chose to be bi. I hate that people don't think that you can't chose to be straight. Like, hello. You aren't born straight, you aren't born gay. You are born undefined, and later in life get to make a decision.
10. God doesn't like homos/you're gonna burn in hell.
😂😂😂 I know it says in the Bible that man is meant for woman, and woman is meant for man. But it never says that girls liking girls/boys liking boys is a sin! So I honestly don't give a fuck. I'm gonna love who I love.
