Did you know that the IQ of any individual is not constant? It goes up with practice, training, and studying. And it comes down if not exercised.
Exactly like your muscles, your brain's efficiency is subject to how much you use it.

I have not heard that it remains constant after 18. The brain has a characteristic that's called "plasticity" which means that it's neurological connections can change. Even old people are given brain exercises to delay amnesia.

This goes back to the nurture vs nature regarding steve job's intelligence.. I wouldn't say it's race related but it's culture and certain lineages *it's in the blood* that can give an extra boost for them to steer further than other people..
I believe it's cultural. Look at the value placed on intellectualism among the cultures of those races, and you'll find the answer.
The brain can be trained just like the bones, muscles and connective tissues. The more you train it, the stronger it gets. The less you train it, the more it atrophies.

I do find it interesting how SOME black men will happily accept the idea that blacks have larger penises on average but then be appalled at the idea that they may have a lower average IQ.
I mean it literally says in your wikipedia article that there is no non-circumstantial evidence that links race to IQ. That's why it's so "taboo", it's not been properly verified.
The studies I've seen aren't very comprehensive, they only show the intelligence distribution across a few races, and leave out so many others.
Besides, ther's the whole "define race" and "define intelligence" that comes into play here.
Whites and Yellows clearly have higher average IQs than Blacks and Browns, which is highly significant.
I agree that intelligence is highly affected by your parents.
If both of your parents are fools then most likely you will be a fool no matter what environment you were raised in or who raised you.

The issue is IQ is completely meaningless. You have guys with high IQ but they still live in their parent's basements, and are completely incapable of creating at least an average life, let alone a good life for themselves. For me, and for any sane person, a guy like that is an idiot, even if his IQ measures 300, if he can't use that intelligence for something productive, he is the same as those dumb ones.
IQ is one of the best predicters of wealth, of course one can be sabotaged by other poor traits, but these traits exist in a certain % people of all IQ's

IQ is extremely soft science, its one of the least hard sciences that exists, it belongs to the social sciences. IQ/race debate is as useless as genetics/environment debate in my opinion, still thanks for posting a mytake on a controversial subject.

Each person has their own IQ regardless of their race. They should do the most with it that they can. Not working hard only guarantees failure. Working hard gives you a much better chance at success
true, but liberals heads will explode. "pbserved" differences in intelligence between races also correaltes with average brain size by race:
East Asians - biggest average brains
Sub Saharan Africans - smallest average brains
Yeah I have genius in me. I think if I took an " iq" test I would be on the 175 range. I'm Native American and Spanish. My ethnical background comes from both Mexico and Spain's European countries.
im not denying by no means that any race can have geniuses. But im trying to look for group patterns more than individual characteristics
Ok to there are a lot of people out there who have average intelligence.
Like people that are in highschool have average intelligence.
University professor has high intelligence.
So student have average intelligence.
There are genetic testing that say that genetic has a large role in intelligence.
The notion that we are all equally gifted and have the same potential never really made much sense to me.
