I think people are absolutely entitled to act in self-defense. Keep in mind that no matter the gender I think only the amount of force needed is enough to make them stop. I. e. you don't knock someone out for slapping you.

Of course. If they initiated combat then the results are on them. Detain her and wait for the proper authorities to arrive. Then explain how what had occurred in a calm manner. She'll be arrested and you may have to testify. It'll be easier if there are witnesses to see the altercation between you and the defendant. After that it's up to the judge/jury to decide.

The only reason people seem to find that can trump what essentially amounts to divine womanhood, is having the wrong politics. There are people who be quite comfortable with it if you tell them the woman is right-wing.

Regardless my strategy is to just allow them to hit me (unless they're using a weapon) then you just ask them if they feel they've convinced everyone that they're right yet or if they feel they've taken the moral higher from me with their strikes.

Saying that men and women are equally guilty when they do the same wrong, that equal injury and equal pain are equally despicable when inflicted on either men ore women, that a deed with the same outcome makes you deserving of the same punishment, whether you are a woman or a man, and that people, regardless of their gender, deserve EXACTLY what they do to others, is NOT saying "women are pigs, they are inferior to men".

I never have and can't see myself hitting a woman. I can block punches and kicks and i don't have to be gentle about it. If she puts a weapon in her hands i will disarm her, and again not gently. But i won't outright punch her.
