Yes you can choose whether to get the vaccine or not, but you have consequences for your choices. I can choose to rob a bank or drive well above the speed limit but as a consequence I would either go to prison or get my license taken away. If you choose not to get the vaccine your consequences are not being allowed in public places and quarantine or risk getting COVID and dying from it. Vaccines are not about choices though but protecting yourself and others from a potentially deadly disease. Does it go against human rights to have speed limits and rules on the road or health regulations at restaurants? No because those are to protect people. Anti vaxxers can chose not to get the vaccine but they will have consequences for it as with any choice. And yes I will accept any consequences for getting the vaccine. #Yourchoiceyourconsequences

By your logic you are equating me not paying a tax to me stealing someone’s wallet. One is an omission and a personal choice. The other is an action that violates another person.
Nobody takes away your license and your job if you don’t wear a seat belt. A persons livelihood and right to earn a wage is a basic human right, not a privilege. There are consequence of living in a free society where people have civil rights to make their own mistakes. The rewards of personal freedom far exceed the risks
The consequences of people not eating well, doing drugs, or refusing a vaccine are they put themselves at risk for health problems.
You could argue you don’t want to pay healthcare for the obese, drug addicts and anti vaxxers and that is fair policy question. But if you are vaccinated then why do you care what anyone else does with their own body?
@Maladroita But not taking the vaccine affects you most of all and it is an action of one's own personal choice, so is abortion. And I studied biology in college just so you know where I get my information from. Earning a living is a human right but whatever the profession is has their own rules and regulations that those who work for them must abide by. Just like anyone who enters my house must abide by my rules. I support everyone's right to choose which includes whether to get the vaccine or not, but I hate that they are complaining about the consequences when they made that choice!

I studied medicine, biology and mathematics. Biology has nothing to do with this issue as biology requires many observations over a LONG time, and even then dissent is required for robust scientific inquiry. Logically it is an issue of public POLICY. Not biology.
You seem to lack awareness that most businesses are not choosing these rules. Big corporations may be choosing to support the predominant media narrative because they can afford to comply, actually they control the media, with pharmaceutical industry being #1 sponsor for your news. The wealthiest corporations like Amazon are incentivized to lobby for these public health policies because they help destroy their competition and consolidate wealth in the hands of a few.
The rules are being arbitrarily forced on small businesses and individuals in an undemocratic way and without scientific merit to support the benefit vs cost from a public health standpoint. There are negative effects on health as a result of such restrictive policies. Public health is complex, not a monomaniacal fixation on germs.
@Maladroita Well I learned about disease during my studies as well as how and why vaccines are made. Yes, I know businesses are not choosing the rules but what choice do they have when they must follow public health and safety. There's many other restrictions that businesses must follow that we don't even think about. Small businesses have to follow on what it is believed to be the best for public health, even though it may not be the best. Rules can change though.

Yep, I made the personal choice to not get vaccinated, Mostly because I get EXTREMELY violent at the mere sight of a needle, Years ago I actually tried to shove a needle in a doctor's neck, ended up getting held down and restrained by multiple security guards. Needless to say I will never put myself in that position again

Research shows that the covid vaccines still protect against the delta variant. Slightly less than against other forms of the virus, but a vaccinated person is still more protected against the delta variant than an unvaccinated person.

Also, when covid mutates (loses genes) it may now have a completely different “cap” shape that only effects other areas of the body (you know what I’m talking about if you’ve studied covid, but a “cap” is how the virus attaches).

Not everyone who is against those vaccines deserves to be hated. Some of them have good reasons to reject these vaccines.
Both my wife and I have been vaccinated. If I had small children I would not get them vaccinated until I knew more about it.
