They don't believe what they say considering they reject men for being fat.
I don't think most people care if you're a little thick, a few pounds overweight. But when you're saying it's healthy and are telling women it's ok to be 30, 50, 100 pounds overweight it's a problem. It's unhealthy and you're convincing them to not better themselves.
I was more open minded to a woman being thick years back -- not sloppy looking but extra. Then women started preaching that men should accept all women as if we have no right to preferences but women do. A light bulb went off in my head and I raised my standards a lot.
i don't think everyone should be proud of their bodies just because they have it. some things are just not healthy or attractive and to say they are is the height of toxic positivity.
shame is important, it helps society tell what is good and what is bad and helps the outliers learn to fit roles better.

Agreed 100%. I look back at my few gfs from 15 years ago. They were different sizes, different personalities. I look at the gestalt of people. Their whole is the sum of their parts.
It’s easy to obsess over a specific body part, especially on women as their bodies are always under the microscope.
According to my YouTube preferences I enjoy female standup comedians. I find them highly attractive for a variety of reasons.
Having Normal BMI is Body Positivity. Normalizing fat and obesity only subsidizes food comapny shareholders and the medical industry when you suffer organ failure. Get off your arse and go for a long walk for once.
There is a lot of truth to how body positivity can be toxic. It gets to the point that people who are clearly unhealthy consider themselves living an acceptable and at times preferable lifestyle. Its less about what is good for you, than just putting blinders on.
We need to be proud of who we are, but at the time accept criticism and our own weaknesses

I agree with you especially on #1... I'm petite and I can't stand it when someone tells me "you're so skinny! Are you sick?" Like wtf? Thats so rude to even ask and they exaggerate too im my normal weight but they judge me.
Some people have great bodies, others do not. This is the genetic lottery. Everything else is just people trying to change their lot or bitch about getting a shitty deal.
I think it is good to be positive about who you are and not allow others to get you down But at the same time, be open to criticism, and recognition of your own shortcomings. So if you have an issue, try your best to accept it and work on it.
yeah. normalizing morbid obesity is certainly not a desirable thing. i think that showing "idealized" pretty and well shaped bodies is something we should continue in order to have something to strive for, not to mistake it for the "standard".
There can't be any peace between healthy fit girls and fat girls. People who have a lack of self control are automatically shamed by the presence of people who maintain a healthy or fairly healthy weight.
I'm fine with wanting to love yourself but there's a point to where you're either too skinny or severely overweight. That should not be viewed as a positive. Just keep your body healthy.
people spend their whole life talking about body size shape color boobs ass about start about the inside that will the same the whole-time won't get fat won't get wrinkles or gray hair

I have a big belly, big bum, thick thighs, man boobs, red hair and freckles. I wish I didn't feel self conscious but I often do.
red hair and freckles are cute though
@lrina thank you.
From a medical perspective:
Unhealthy BMI (if you are not a bodybuilder etc.) = increased risks in diseases/mental issues.
Right... no doctor is going to say with a straight face that it's okay to be a fat azz.

The focus should be on health and happiness, not just 'do what you want even if you're obese or anorexic.'
Body/fat positivity is just sweeping the obesity epidemic under the rug.
This is not ok! While nobody should be bullied for extra weight, but you can't promote obesity as being healthy for got sake!
Couldn’t have said this better myself, absolutely loved it. 🙂

Nah, you're just confusing the advertisement for the actual product, is all.
