Is going shirtless/sending shirtless pics a turn off for girls?

I have buddies who like to hang out without a shirt where there are girls, and who send shirtless pictures to girls all the time. While I'm not insecure at all about my looks (quite the opposite really), it seems to me like that would be a bit of a turn off. Even if a guy has six pack abs and a barrel chest, doesn't that make you come off as, for lack of a better term, a bit of a man slut? Call me a purist, but I feel like you really ought to save that for one special girl, or a s/o. Opinions?

It's probably one of those cases where the response will depend on the kind of body that's being flaunted. I once saw a video of a ripped guy going through the streets of Bangkok and he got eyefucked by the girls hard. Pretty much all the girls.

It really wouldn't elicit the same kind of response if a fat guy like me did it. :D

For some it is, for some it isn't. To me, it's not. If I was a guy and I worked hard to sculpt my body, you'd bet I would take a pic and put it up. It doesn't mean I'm arrogant. It means that I'm showing proof of what hard work looks like.

It's a turn off to me if I barely know him or it's a profile picture. If he's so willing to expose himself, who knows what else he'll be willing to do. It's slutty and I don't care for it.

Not a turn off if the girl asks for it/they are dating/they are hooking up. But doing it randomly is a turn off.

Turn off if it's from a random guy, but if you talk a lot on Snapchat for example, where you send pics, it would be a turn on.
