the reason why I'm asking this is because a lot of woman date guys like this and I was wondering why woman date guys who hurt them repeatedly? This is a pretty woman but she is dead now her boyfriend was a drug dealer according to reports from the police but why was she dating a man who would hurt and abuse her kids? Why? And would you date the guy up top?

While reading the book, it was this one line that broke my heart and brought tears pouring down my face. I cried, because it was the truth.

In the past, I've tried to get with this major druggie, simply because I felt like I couldn't do better. I wasted months trying to convincing myself that he was a good person, and that he was perfect for me, despite my friends warnings. I somehow managed to build up the courage to tell him I like him, and not surprisingly, he completely rejected me.

You know, it's difficult being surrounded by couples and wanting to have what they have, but unable to get it. I just wanted to love someone and have someone love me back. After being rejected so many times, and bullied to the point where I believe I'm a literal piece of shit, I became willing to accept any piece of shit that comes my way. My friend even pointed out that I would most likely even remain in an abusive relationship, because I have absolutely no self worth.

In opinion, I feel like some girls who end up with druggies, criminals, etc., may be like me and feel like they can't do better, and that these are the type of guys they deserve.

You know what you make out that people who are criminals or drug users suck these girls into the life that's bull shit you can lead a horse to water but u can't make it drink. I have lived that life style I have sold used committed acts of violence but never against women or children or even men who weren't involved in that lifestyle. And if I'm honest with you most of the women I found moving in that circle were just as bad and Were damaged by there family and up bringing not the partner they chose. Anyone with a history of partners will probably understand that what instinctively attracts us isn't always what's best for us.
