I diasagree. Jealously is just another term for insecurities. You can despise someone but not be jealous of them.
A person may" hate"a person's personality and hate everything they stand for. It doesn't mean they are jealous of them. It usually means they are thankful they aren't like that person.
Jealousy and hatred have two different meanings.
Usually when someone's jealous of you it means deep down they respect, because want to be like you or want what you have. They don't really hate you.
Their jealousy can cause them to be mean to you , but in the end it's their own insecurities causing them to act in a mean way... not hatred

Hatred seems to me a result of a secondary emotion; meaning, I don't believe hatred is an actual emotion or a real feeling, but rather a secondary thought that came from something such as envy, jealousy, a deep seated resentment (which is sometimes the result of someone doing something hurtful to us), sadness/pain/heartache, etc. That being said, I think this quote is a good one.
No. If someone, per instance, hurt my little brother, I wouldn't be "jealous" of them and neither would I be in love. I'd just fucking hate their very guts.
No, it sounds like total hogwash. Why do I think that? I just don't think it's true, not even close.

No, I disagree. I think almost all hatred is straight up contempt.
I don't think it's just that.
