I'm straight, though I believe sexuality should not matter because when doing nude body sketches I'm too busy figuring out how to properly shape my drawing to feel "turned" on :S
I see. So when you said different hair types... you mean hair on the head? Or did you mean pubic hair? Just curious, do you ever feel at all awkward with a female nude model? Or you feel perfectly comfortable with that?
I meant hair on head and I'm 100% fine with a female/male nude model. I'm not there to feel embarrassed, I'm there to get better at what I enjoy to do, art.
Thanks. So one last question... if you were in a class with both male and female artists and a nude female model, would you feel awkward at all that the guys were seeing a nude woman? Or it wouldn't bother you at all that the other guys in class were examining a nude female?
lol I don't care about what they do, unless they disturb the class or the people inside the room. I usually expect them to be respectful to the model and the class they are taking.
I would choose the female body A) it's more fun B) I'm more familiar with it.

Thanks for replying. Just curious, what makes the female body more fun to draw? And I assume you say you are more familiar with it only because you are female?
Women are pretty and since I'm already an artist I enjoyed drawing women because of this fact it's the thick luscious hair, the big expressive eyes, long lashes, full lips, small delicate face, then the curves in their body. So fun. And I say I'm more familiar with it cause I'm a woman and I know my body so drawing women just comes to me easier.

Apparently not always. A women in the same office when i was doing some development work was talking about the life class or whatever it was called that she took and from certain overly detailed descriptions i didn't particularly want to hear but from the description he certainly wasn't bad looking.

Female of course, I have no interest in seeing men naked, even for art.
I mean men is okay,
BuT drawing female is sooo fun >:O
Thanks for replying. Any particular reason you would pick the female nude model?
They have more curves, which makes it more fun to experiment your line drawings.
Hair types are also really great!
Thanks. Just curious if you don't mind me asking... would you say you are straight? Or bi?

Thanks. Would you ever model?
Hmm If i could earn $$$ maybe ;P
Nude female model for sure. The female form is appealing to me whereas the male form isn't.
Definitely nude female, I don't want to look at a nude male, that's disgusting. No offense.
Looks like most women so far prefer a nude female as well, not surprising at all.
Drawing a female, I choose you margot robbie.
Realistically I find drawings of women way more beautiful and artistic than drawings of men.
I picked female because I think their form is more aesthetic.
I would choose the female body
A) it's more fun
B) I'm more familiar with it.

Uh I don't think I'd do it. I used to have a book though and would draw using that
You mean you wouldn't model I assume? I just meant would you feel awkward if you were drawing a nude female model standing in front of you?
I would never do nude modeling and I also probably would not go and draw a nude model. Thats why I said I would just use the book.
Ohh. So you would never want to see a live model because it would be awkward? Or why would you not want to see a live model?
It's not something I'd actively go and seek out.
il pick a female one for the first time, the second time a male one. it doesn't really matter to me actually.
female because usually the models and fat and ugly and it would already be awkward to draw a naked guy so it would be gross
Thanks. Would you feel at all awkward with a female nude model? Or you would feel perfectly comfortable with that?
it's still awkward but not as much because I'm a girl so it's nothing new lol
I actually have to take a nude drawing class soon for school haha

I would draw a male and a female together in embrace. and show the world what love really is.
Women's bodies are so artistic so I'd immediately go for one
I would pick a female model, a different experience sketching a female
Nude female model because that way I get to see a nude female.
Ofcourse female, don't enjoy looking to man for hours lol.
The female body is just more beautiful with all it's curves and shapes.
Looking at the guy nude I'd lose interest
Girls seem like theyd be more fun to draw anyway
As a man I would prefer a female bit am amazed even women want a nude female model :(
Female, reason being that they are much more organic and free flowing to draw.
I just wouldn't do it. I find art to be a waste of my time.
Male for sure for me.
Thanks for replying. Any particular reason you would you prefer the male nude model?
More comfortable I guess. Plus I could work on my shading if he has great abs lol
So in general you would say you are more comfortable with men? And you would be fine drawing his penis I assume? haha
Yes I'm much more comfortable around males and I'd have no problem drawing his penis except the fact that I'm a horrible artist!
