Why would anyone want to have 2-3 secret family's or houses what is the appeal? It seems to be more a man thing, but some people have more than one partner and set of kids, and the other has no idea.
I was at school with a kid whose dad had a double life, complete with a second family.
The dad was always very flash, but was one of those people who was drowning in debt. It all started to implode when his business went under, and he started a new one, which was basically block paving fraud. He ended up being featured on Watchdog, and going to prison.
During the trial, and I don't know the exact circumstances, this second family stuff emerged, and the lad I'd been at school with learned that he had a much younger half brother of whose existence he'd been entirely ignorant.
I didn't realise this at the time, but the father was clearly a narcissist par excellence, and I've subsequently read that this kind of behaviour is not uncommon with them. They do it because they get bored with what they have, and feel the need to find new sources of supply.
Suffice to say, nice, normal people don't do this...
Well i don´t know why, because if you looks at this situation just from a financial stand point you will realise soon enought that this will be very bad for you. Because let´s face it, the money you need to spend on children nowadays is absurdly high, and when you will be having to help look after two more families, assuming you will have children in the extra families as well, that is an absurd amount of money to be spent. I know for myself that i wouldn´t ever do this kind of shit with my life. I even don´t want kids to begin with because they would impact my freedom negatively, let alone having children with 2 or more different women; Too much headache in all senses, having to hide it from each one of them, no way.

Because they can, whatever it is about guys like this we women can't get enough. Either it's the drama, the mystery or the sheer masculinity. It's like those guys who somehow convince multiple women to marry them. Women aren't much better. Women put up a false front about virtually everything Our faces are fake (makeup), our hair is fake (dyed), our boobs are fake (some of us), everything about us is fake. Most especially when it comes to what is inside of us. We lie constantly, because we are far worse, character-wise, than even our closest friends or lovers will ever know, and we desperately fight to keep all of that hidden. We are looking for our true daddies, basically – the idealized daddies that we never had – somebody who can see through all of our false fronts and call us out on our bullshit and put us in our place. The problem is, those type of men are very few and far between.
I've known and heard of many men who live double life's. Usually they've got a second family in another town or were con men. I think it's because they are board with their life and crave something new and exciting and then get trapped in their web of lies so constantly start making new identities to cover their tracks and hide easier

Married almost 10 years to one that wasn't THAT bad but did have at least one covert other life/circle of friends, usually doing bad things or not socially accepted > for the thrills, laughs, giving the finger to society, while competing for halos at church, school, family - the banks of life that support retirement goals > getting accolades via flirting and asocial behaviour w/o working for it, usually either lazy or competing with those that outwork them or favored by family/others "unfairly" > mine was a Gemini, her evil twin never to be revealed except to her covert circle... mostly
Is that really a thing? Outside maybe a few isolated incidents Never ever known anyone to do that I don't really understand it is logistically possible except for a few people in professions that require a lot of travel And how is it even financially viable? I don't know
I think it can be a form of defence. You are me er at risk of losing it all if you have 2 backup families. It feels wrong but not being totally dependent on someone is an impuls I can understand. When something with one family goes bad you go to the next one. You move on before closing the last chapter. But then your first family gets better.
U know like women dont need to live double lives. She just have to keep having kids for the other and her husband will father children that are not his. Does that count as double life. Statistically 40% of children in the US are raised by a man who doesn't know they are not his biological children. 40%.
Its called loss of passion. The love that was initially present was gone and the double-timer decided to find it somewhere else rather than rekindle it. Yea, sadly, my gender tends to do such stupid stuff more😐
To be honest, this isn't just the man's fault. In most marriages, the wife stops caring about how attraction appeal. She expects the man to be loyal to her, which he should of course. But most women have this idea that they are in the right all the time. I mean if a women enjoys being attractive, why give this up when you get married and have kids?
On another note, there are many women who cheat on their husbands with others but it's harder for them to have a second family unless they are rich and able to live in multiple locations. This is rare of course because it's unlikely a women can give birth in secret.
I think it's because they're ashamed of the way they live, so they act a certain way in certain situations to appeal to people who might react negatively to the life that the person is ashamed of.
I think for women it's almost necessary to lead a double life. Men wouldn't get involved if they knew women don't want love or a relationship, just money.
