How can I meet guys outside of school?

so I'm a pretty shy girl, I want to meet a guy but all of the guys at my small private high school are very loud and friends with all the girls (who are also loud), and so I don't think they would like me. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice for meeting guys outside of school, like where to go, how to approach them, and what to say? I'm usually really shy before I get to know someone, it takes me a while to open up but when I do I'm fun and more outgoing.

Wow, I'm the exact same as you haha! Shy at first, then fun. And similar problem for me, except my problem is that I go to an all-boys school. Sorry, though, I don't know where you could meet guys your age, but what you can do is just not worry about it, cause dating in high school isn't actually that important. Once you get to university though, you can probably meet guys.

Join a youth group or outside organization such as a youth council or charity. There will probably be tons of people your age and you can get to know each other because they are used to having new people join up. It will be awkward at first but just smile and people will come around

join non school clubs...like that are part of your commjunity rec centre or something...that are coed or course!
