Nothing new and provocative about it, the word okay already implies some sort of An apology. There is just as god awful hassole in every race, the hardest trick is to be provocative by creating thoughts not responding to other race pressure. kind of lame on my book.
I agree but it’s not about shoving it in people’s face, it’s more like accepting that you are Caucasian instead of feeling “white guilt”. Basically being ashamed of being white just because of history.
White guilt never hurt anyone... guilt is an interesting thing. Only you can make yourself feel guilty, no one else can make you feel guilty. Guilt comes from recognizing a wrong... that's a pretty natural thing. That's why white guilt became white guilt. If our country took the time to just recognize and accept our dark history for what it was, then I think it wouldn't be this polarizing for people. White guilt is not a reason to remind people who aren't white that they aren't as privileged. Sorry, it's just the truth, white people aren't disadvantaged for being white and the shirt kind makes a satire out of the deeply rooted discrimination that does keep nonwhites disadvantaged.
That’s not the case in my opinion. You shouldn’t be ashamed of what you didn’t do. Of course no one that is American born is blind to the slavery of this country but at the same time not all whites owned slaves nor do all whites come from just one European country. There’s whites that come from Norway, Belgium, Russia countries that have no background on enslaving people of color. Also if our country took time to stop blaming an entire race of people for something they had no control on then the relationships would be different but if you’re constantly forcing it down their throats that they are evil what kind of reaction would you expect.
Also it’s a sense of rich and poor in the US because there’s plenty of successful black people that live at the same height as successful white people. Asians in the US and Indian doctors are top I wouldn’t call that a disadvantage... also racism and discrimination comes in all races and colors don’t make it seem as though just white people can be racist🧐🧐 if you think that way you are what’s holding back the world from moving forward
I never said all white people carry white guilt, or should carry white guilt... no one here is blaming all white people for what happened in this country. All I'm saying is there is no denying the on-going, never ending struggles of nonwhites run deeper than the struggles of whites as a racial group regarding expectation and response in the U. S... and white guilt is a very real thing because of the history in this country. Just because not all white people fall into that category doesn't make it less real. White people do have advantages because of the color of their skin, just like people of color are disadvantaged by the color of their skin. A shirt that indicates the obvious, "Its okay to be white".. people of color get that memo every day of their life... it acts like a microaggression almost. We dont need the reminder, well all know.
White people already have a disproportionate amount of power. Wearing a shirt like this, tends to mean there is no desire to share power, keep your hands off.
Black supremacist groups say they are proud to be black. Does that mean that any black person who also says that should just start hating white people? Group A saying the same thing as Group B doesn't mean the two groups are equal.
Yet you can't explain why... typical. You just keep throwing labels out there but you can't formulate the slightest hint of an argument. It's a little pathetic, brother. By the age of 28 you should be able to support your own opinions with logic and reasoning.
It looks like it'll just provoke attention, but I wouldn't care. Just looks dumb; I mean you might as well just wear a shirt that says "insult me" or something, cause that's likely what'll happen.
There's no problem wearing that shirt, but it truly is sad that the US has become a place where people think racism towards specific races are okay yet racism towards other specific groups is unacceptable
It is not offensive to wear because it is okay to be white. I can't change my black skin and they can't change their white skin. So why would it be bad just to be yourself?
I have no problem wearing it (don't personally feel the need to wear it) neither do I have a problem for other races to wear it, but a white person has all the reason to wear it now, since we are more hated than at any point in history.
It's just stating a fact. It IS Okay To Be White. However, the other purpose of this shirt is to provoke, to expose those who disagree with this common sensical statement for their anti-white sentiments.
i live in a batshit crazy leftist hellhole where whites are automatically taking advantage of other races just because thats how it is regardless of if your a scottish/irish slave descendant or not
I think all races are equal, so I don't have a problem with this shirt. I mean, would anything really change if it was "It's Okay to Be (insert munority race)?"

While it is true that if the shirt said "It's okay to be black" no one would bat an eye — shirts like this are unnecessary and won't win anyone over.
Its not the statement, thats provocative. Its the "right there in your face"-mentality that makes it provocative.
It is indeed okay to be white, but dont shove it in other peoples faces.
I agree but it’s not about shoving it in people’s face, it’s more like accepting that you are Caucasian instead of feeling “white guilt”. Basically being ashamed of being white just because of history.
Hence why the cringe text says it’s okay to be white

I dont have any white guilt, or at least I dont feel like I have, because slavery was never a thing in my country here in Europe...
I never said all white people carry white guilt, or should carry white guilt... no one here is blaming all white people for what happened in this country. All I'm saying is there is no denying the on-going, never ending struggles of nonwhites run deeper than the struggles of whites as a racial group regarding expectation and response in the U. Okay...
White people already have a disproportionate amount of power. Wearing a shirt like this, tends to mean there is no desire to share power, keep your hands off.
But it doesn't say anything about power. Is it not ok to be white?
It's just stupid...
Any shirt that seemingly has anything 'smart/ass' to say is a lost cause in my view...
I don't care what people wear. But it does look really stupid.
Your assuming its a race shirt. The shirt is white, and its ok. Either way the shirt is fine.
Racism starts with normalization with racism. Unless you want to be in racist group, Than join K. K. K they say its am white and am proud.
Black supremacist groups say they are proud to be black. Does that mean that any black person who also says that should just start hating white people?
Group A saying the same thing as Group B doesn't mean the two groups are equal.
Also... there is absolutely nothing racist about that tshirt
1) Hate in any matter in any form is wrong.
What part of the tshirt is hate? If anything its entirely about acceptance.
Fact u think walk around T shirt saying " is it ok to be white" normalization is mental Illness.
Yet you can't explain why... typical. You just keep throwing labels out there but you can't formulate the slightest hint of an argument. It's a little pathetic, brother. By the age of 28 you should be able to support your own opinions with logic and reasoning.
What reason is behind " is it okay to be white," your question is as pathetic as your hidden white agenda. So stop the double standards moron.
Still absolutely no reason, just more unsubstantiated accusations and labels! Are you saying that it's not OK to be white?
You will be Regarded as Racist... Online and Offline. xx
Either it be equally fair to any ethnicity to be allowed to have one that says differently or don't allow it at all.
It looks like it'll just provoke attention, but I wouldn't care. Just looks dumb; I mean you might as well just wear a shirt that says "insult me" or something, cause that's likely what'll happen.
If you're okay wearing T-Shrits with cringy texts on them, that ain't my problem...
There's no problem wearing that shirt, but it truly is sad that the US has become a place where people think racism towards specific races are okay yet racism towards other specific groups is unacceptable

No, this t-shirt is perfectly fine and if it mentioned another race then there would be no issue!
It's just stating a fact. It IS Okay To Be White. However, the other purpose of this shirt is to provoke, to expose those who disagree with this common sensical statement for their anti-white sentiments.
I'm noticing a pattern. I see more people reacting more negatively if you aren't white but more "neutral" if you are.
Yeah I actually would like one, need to buy a gun first though, unfortunately.
Why? Angered people?
i live in a batshit crazy leftist hellhole where whites are automatically taking advantage of other races just because thats how it is regardless of if your a scottish/irish slave descendant or not
Where do you live?
west coast
I think all races are equal, so I don't have a problem with this shirt. I mean, would anything really change if it was "It's Okay to Be (insert munority race)?"
