Why do obvious white models choose to wear darker skin like a costume? I really thought it was a black woman at first till I look a little closer and realized it’s definitely a Caucasian woman with what seems to be a superrr dark unnatural spray tan. I definitely do think this dark of a spray tan is definitely unnecessary and black fishing idc if people get spray tans to an extent but once you look like you’re a completely different race I think you’ve overdid it and you’re taking what’s not yours especially when actual brown woman struggle to find jobs in modeling. This should not be okay in my opinion but what do you guys think and why?

My stance is that it isn't a racial issue. Depending on the individual and the motivation behind it, it may be a personal issue (i.e. why are they doing this? Is this damaging their skin? Are they trying to compensate for insecurities of some sort?), but I don't think it is some act of racism. They are their own person and can do what they want.
I believe that there may be some confusion with this and blackface. However, the difference between this and black is apparent with the history that is the foundation of implications. Blackface has a history behind it with minstrel shows in the 1830s to 1930s roughly. Those shows mocked black people, exaggerated their features, and dehumanized them. Now, the act of painting a white face black alone is not inherently racist. For instance, there are beauty salons, black ops camo paint, getting muddy. Rather, it's the situation it's used in, and it's the intent behind the paint. These two things cannot be generalized.
Thus, this is a different scenario than the instagram models today. The instagram models are less-likely trying to mock black people or culture, and they're most likely trying to make an appeal to their audience. Now, if there is a model out there obviously mocking, that's one thing, but I don't think that's the case here, based on the photos shown. It happens in a reverse way as well with people with darker skin lightening it. To make a rather bold claim that it's taking jobs away, I think there needs to be stronger evidence for that statement.
Furthermore, every model is trying to make an appeal in one way or another to boost their resumé (aka make their body more appealing to people) and get more deals, and I don't agree that they should be concerned about someone else's job to stop their attempts. That's like someone saying to me that I shouldn't learn guitar in addition to drums, because it makes a guitarist out of a job for a gig. In the business world, there is a certain aspect of every man/woman for him/herself. To promote a constantly consciences perspective for competitors in the market ruins the natural competition that happens.

I think there are three things I'd respond to that with: 1.) I think intention plays a large role. I see no reason to believe the model in question is trying to demean black women or steal their modeling gigs. She could just very well think she looks better with the heavy tan. (I don't particularly like the look of the heavy tan myself, but I suppose to each their own.)
2.) If the issue is concern over how many modeling jobs there are for white/black women, I feel like the issue is not the model in question. Instead, I'd wonder just why modeling agencies are using race like quotas. I could be wrong here, but I thought agencies see it more so as a general "if we think you're beautiful, we'll hire you." In other words, the quota isn't racial, but it's a general person quota.

Well, that's your opinion on the matter. If I disgust you or you think whatever of me for my opinion, you're free to do so under ideas of free speech. All I can do really is disagree and say that regardless whether you believe me or not, I don't see a race as having more inherent worth than another, and I don't think any race should have control over other races either.

She's a Caucasian woman who changed her skin color by using pigment injections. She turned from white to black. She says that a lot of Caucasian women ask her where she got the injections because they want to look like her, basically they want to look black. I guess these models like the aesthetic of looking black and the biological benefits of having melanated skin, such as not aging as fast and protection from the Sun. She was very beautiful before the plastic surgery and skin color change, but then I realized that a lot of people that try to force their beauty standards on you, are deep down insecure about their looks and they don't believe that they're beautiful. If you look at the map, there are more countries with melanated people then there are countries with non-melanated people. Well I agree with you, but just playing devil's advocate, there are white people who are naturally darker-skinned than some black people. Dark skin isn't NECESSARILY a black trait, despite the "white/black/brown/red" vocab we use to describe race. I've met white people the color of coffee and black people the color of sanded pine.
That said, I agree the spray tan looks unnatural (better than orange though!) My sister did the same thing (except on a tanning bed), and there might be some element of emulation. She only hangs out with and dates black people, and at one point was pretty racist against white people. I thought it was just a stupid trend, but maybe it did have something to do with the aesthetic of looking like the other people in her clique specifically. If that's the case, then that is just one more reason she shouldn't do it, along with cancer and looking like an old baseball glove by the time she hits 40.

Black people are also more likely to develop sickle cell anemia, but that doesn't mean every black person has sickle cell and it doesn't mean that no white man does. I've been to Africa. There are men there much lighter than white people I know. I've been to Eastern Europe. There are white men there much darker than you. Since I’m already more dark (I have some Italian and Persian blood in me, but very little) I can get much darker than that, but it needs time. I hate to break it to you but some "white" people can naturally tan to a really dark tan because they do have the melanin their tanning is a natural reaction to the UV in sunlight and you have no idea what the persons genetic background is. If its Natali Danish you're specifically on about I have notices that some of the photos of her that appear to have been taken with a smart phone seem to have skewed saturation, contrast and white balance settings especially the first two above, I seriously doubt that there is any intention to cause offence.

Personally I agree, I think people should just embrace who they are. But if they really want to do it I’m not going to try to force my opinions on them since “they’re” not hurting anyone. I know tans can happen for whites but their tans are a different shade than colored people because there is a difference and once white peoplw start spraying on a color that they could never naturally get it is called blackface because it belongs to us.
It's the same as when people dye their hair another colour, it's not their natural colour but they don't go round saying it is? The same as tanning, they don't try to say they are another race.. so what's the problem?
