People in there believe in me! They don't even question my holly existence and they even sacrifice their new born babies for me! What else can a God ask for?
After America won the WWII, its military power became most powerful. Other things came with it. It is most powerful country but not the best for human rights and needs.
Investing ridiculous amounts of money into the military instead of caring about the wellbeing of its citizens, supporting coups, ridding elections or destroying other countries by war or crippling their economies makes america superior to other countries when speaking about power.
"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all,"
@I-am-a-nobody Jealous of what exactly? Of your healthcare system that lets people die if they don't have money? Of how little mental health is treated seriously? Of how part of the skills you must learn in schools is dodging bullets? Of how ludicrous your defense budget is? Of how you send your own men to die in shit hole countries just for oil? Of how mad your politics are and how people hate on each other for their political opinions? Of how widespread SJW mentalities are?
Regarding defense, I agree, we should let Europe defend Europe. About 5 nations are keeping their NATO pledge of 2% of GDP on defense. www.nato.int/.../20190625_PR2019-069-EN.pdf
@I-am-a-nobody Yeah but the prices of medical care are absolutely ridiculous compared to Europe for example. So my concern is, what if someone will not survive without medical care but they don't have the money? Will they just be left to die?
@I-am-a-nobody When I compare the quality of living back home to here it was better there at least for me personally... Im not aware of the situation of ever single Ugandan but I'm quite certain many who have had the same experience as me would agree
@I-am-a-nobody Being turned away from medical care happens, but it isn't mentioned. As a child, I grew up *extremely* poor in a midwest state. My family had zero insurance. For seven years, if we were ill, we didn't go to the doctor. I had a series of bad accidents (being hit by a car, for one), and broke my tailbone, elbow, tore ligaments holding my rib heads in place, and needing stitches in my head. Aside from the stitches, I was turned down for medical care because of no insurance or money to pay up front. 7 years of that situation made me painfully (literally) aware of the American medical system being for profit. I once had an anaphylactic shock to some food. Unknown allergy (couldn't be tested because we couldn't afford it). Thankfully we had some benedryl around, and I took a boatload of it. I was 8 at the time. Also, broken elbows stay painful and have tendinitis. It killed some of my job potential. But... endless opportunity (to suffer) in America. Yes, I'm cynical, but wanted to at least reply to your opinion to give you at least one anecdotal response to prove (in a small way) that yes, people don't get medical treatment when they're poor.
Personally I like countries better that don't ban trans people in the military, and countries that aren't filled with people who vote based on what the snowflakes are saying next. Soooo... lemme think, I mean I have been toying with the thought of moving to Quebec. They're lgbt friendly and are pro cannabis. True freedom. And where I'm at, a greyhound ticket is cheap. Only problem is getting a job, an apartment, and citizenship. Oh and getting my stuff there.
@I-am-a-nobody It depends on the person, for example I am an Austrian and Austria is the greatest nation in the world for me. But Germany can be the greatest nation for a German.

@YHL6965
If it were as bad as people at GAG say, we'd have to build walls to keep people in!
(Lot of jealous Europeans here.)

@I-am-a-nobody agreed. Socialists need barb wire to keep their citizens from running away
@YHL6965
I don't think I've ever heard of anyone turned away from medical care.
We basically subsidize pharma around the world.
Regarding money, there are few with a higher median income.

I agree... I'd always wanna go to America when I was little... now I'm here... now I wanna go home
@I-am-a-nobody Yeah but the prices of medical care are absolutely ridiculous compared to Europe for example. So my concern is, what if someone will not survive without medical care but they don't have the money? Will they just be left to die?
@TheLittleInnocent Aww, that's sad. Where are you from initially?
Uganda... Its a small country in East Africa.
@TheLittleInnocent
I can't imagine many places in America are worse than Uganda!
@I-am-a-nobody When I compare the quality of living back home to here it was better there at least for me personally... Im not aware of the situation of ever single Ugandan but I'm quite certain many who have had the same experience as me would agree
@TheLittleInnocent
OK. As the saying goes, be it ever so humble there's no place like home.

@RickPen Man, that is so fucked. I can't believe the USA call themselves an advanced civilization with such poor healthcare.
Nothing. I love my country but it's not the best.
Then which country is the best?
Personally I like countries better that don't ban trans people in the military, and countries that aren't filled with people who vote based on what the snowflakes are saying next. It’s not the greatest nation
@hknmhmn4
If it's not the US, what nation is?
@I-am-a-nobody no nation
@hknmhmn4
So, there are about 200 tied for last place?
Why can't we say one is better than all the rest?
@I-am-a-nobody It depends on the person, for example I am an Austrian and Austria is the greatest nation in the world for me. But Germany can be the greatest nation for a German.
@hknmhmn4
I disagree, but fair enough.
