I don't think that any culture or practically anything for that matter is "equal." Cultures are a product of humanity and humans are not equal, not even identical twins. However, humans are equal in the sense of their well-being and under the law. Also, from reading your update, wow, you sound really hateful for some reason. A person doesn't have to be "scum" for believing that cultures are equal. Also, not everything has to be political. It should be about determining whether or not something is "true" or "false," not "liberal" or "conservative." A person could believe that cultures are equal simply because they believe people from different cultures should not be treated any better or worse than people from their own cultures. However, whether or not they're right about that equality depends on how "equal" is defined. If you define equality as "value," then I would agree with those supposed "liberal scum." Regardless of the differences between cultures, no culture is anymore valuable than another because culture is nothing more than the differences of lifestyles between social groups. However, the actions that we engage in definitely could be considered more valuable than others based on how they affect other people's well-being. For example, as long as people in any sort of culture live their lives their own way without hurting those around them, then no problem exists.

However, if they engage in things that threaten the health, life, overall well-being, or freedom of those around them, then their actions lack value because they harm people rather than help them. You have aspects of all cultures in the world, including Western and Eastern cultures, that live their lives carefree and helping those around them, which makes them valuable to others, but you also have people that do harm in these cultures. In addition, you seem to be overly generalizing what appears to be tribal African cultures based on these videos you posted. Each tribal group has its own way of life, just like people that live in "civilized" communities. Someone could easily pull up videos of people in supposedly "civilized" cultures doing unflattering things, including things that threaten the well-being of others. By doing that, they could also make an argument against "civilization," but they too would be wrong because their reasoning is flawed. The point is, cherry picking specific videos to confirm a bias doesn't represent different cultures. Not everything about Western/European culture is "beautiful," "well-developed," and "magnificent," especially when you consider the history. Many Europeans in history have engaged in a lot of things that could be considered "savage" to build Europe into what it is today. A lot of the supposedly "primitive tendencies" that exist in tribal cultures also have existed and still do exist in Western and Eastern cultures as well.

I believe equal isn't the correct word when measuring cultures but it is all opinion-based. It's also important to clarify whose culture you're talking about; I don't know if the video does that but based on the comments I read on GAG it seems like people are lumping Africa as one. You have to remember Africa has the most ethnic groups in the world. And I hope this question was truly about ethnic culture and not race. And I hope I'm not attacked for having my own thoughts instead of joining in on the making fun. I live in Africa, and while I don't consider their traditions and practices equal to the Europeans I don't judge either. It's none of my business. Besides that these videos are just African versions of American college students, I see no difference besides colour and language and country. Europeans are certainly more cultured than Americans or Africans but they have their flaws as well. The west has indeed dominated the world for the past 500 years. But understand that 500 years is not a long time considering that our species has been around for several hundred thousand years. Sooner or later one group will come up with something first. There have been other cultures and civilizations that have come and gone and certain culture and technological aspects will be absorbed into other societies. Here's the thing about the word "equal": you really have to define what the hell you're talking about! lol! For example if we're talking about football teams and we ask "are they all equal?" the answer is a clear YES in terms of "do they all have to play the game by the same rules, try to figure out how to recruit the best players, build a fan base, sell tickets, generate income, come up with a strategy and gameplan and then execute on gameday?" Yes indeed--they're all "equal" in that sense. But if you're asking if they're equal in terms of the results they get--of COURSE not! What is presented looks uncivilized and pagan, but God doesn't want us to hate anyone. All humans all flawed and therefore all human cultures are flawed, but Jesus came to redeem. Blacks there live far better qualities of life than anywhere else in Africa. The African countries which were never or the least colonized are also the least developed and prosperous such as Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, and Liberia. Are values such as innovation, rule of law, free expression and women’s empowerment equally held across all cultures? If all cultures are equal, how does one account for the fact that, for the last 500 years, it has been one culture—the culture of the West, and now of America—that has shaped the world?

Multiculturalists explain it in terms of oppression. Western civilization, they say, became so powerful because it is so evil. The study of Western civilization, they insist, should focus on colonialism and slavery; the unique mechanisms of Western oppression. But colonialism and slavery are not uniquely Western at all. They are universal. The British conquered India and ruled it for 300 years. But before the British, the Persians, the Mongols, the Muslims, and Alexander the Great had done exactly same thing; they conquered large parts of India. Indeed, the British were the sixth or seventh colonial invader to occupy India.
As for slavery, it has existed in every culture. It was prevalent in ancient China, in ancient India, in Greece and Rome, and in Africa. American Indians practiced slavery long before Columbus set foot here.

What is uniquely Western, in fact, is not slavery, but the abolition of slavery. And what distinguishes the West from all other cultures are the institutions of democracy, capitalism, and science. These institutions developed because of a peculiar dynamism of Athens and Jerusalem––a synthesis of classical reason and Judeo-Christian morality. And it is these institutions, I believe, that comprise the source of Western strength and explain the West’s long-standing dominance in the world.
The West’s greatest strength is not merely its military power, but also the unparalleled power of its ideas and institutions.

The West is the best. Why do you think everyone wants to move here? But when they do move here, they bring the worst aspects of their own culture with them and create ghettos; thus supplanting the original culture. The left then supports and encourages these ghettos because they believe in cultural relativism. This idea that all cultures are equal. Well they're not. Some cultures are clearly better than other cultures.

I'm not saying that there aren't good things that we can take from other cultures and I know that western culture isn't perfect. But it's the best we've got. In terms of economic prosperity, individual freedom, intellectual advancement, technological progress, the arts and medicine. The West provided the blueprint for the ascent of humanity. The West is also the most tolerant place in the world towards other cultures that accepts them with open arms even at the rest of their own destruction. So we are we constantly brow beaten into being ashamed of the West. I'm not ashamed of democracy or the Renaissance, of the enlightenment, of how the West ended slavery, or coming from the most tolerant place on the planet. Once again, look at the fruits of Western Civilization, an increase in health, wealth, life expectancy, comfort, freedom, unparalleled access to education, and contributions to human history. That's why we shouldn't be ashamed to defend Western culture against cultural relativism. We shouldn't be bullied into sacrificing our own culture and allowing it to be supplanted by inferior cultures in the name of political correctness. The West is the best.

I do agree that our society is stupid to allow people like Jeff Bezos to not pay his share, but the police don't murder black people for fun, that has been debunked.
