Ah yes the good old days when you could make a movie without worrying about quotas and making sure every gendre and race is well represented. Will Smith and TLJ brought life to these characters and had an amazing dynamic that wasn't forced but well earned.
Unlike that that piece of crowd pleasing trash MIB international when they replaced them all together and bought in the blond guy and black girl to make sure things are even. The idea of men in black is for them to be MEN simply because their role as secret government spooks with mind erasing pens requires a deminor a woman can't easliy bring it's like having a woman work as bouncer at a club no one would take her seriously enough to feel threatened into behaving and as the story makes her unbeatable it feels forced as well.
Disclaimer: I am not suggesting women can't be strong characters the idea is their strength is better emphasized in a different way, trying to do it "just like the men do it" is not strength it's poor writing. Strength would be making a female character strong in places that look natural (if that makes sense)

The name for the movie comes from urban legends about mysterious government agents who always wore black suits with black ties and black hats and drove non descript black cars and therefore not identifiable. M. I. B.'s have been part of the American folklore for probably close to fifty years now. There has never been any reports of W. I. B.'s. Since the movie franchise was inspired in part by that folklore then changing the name of the franchise would not work. That said, there has been at least one W. I. B. I believe in the second movie.
They made a women-only Ghostbusters. It was all of the following:
Stupid. Dumb. Retarded. Moronic. Pathetic. Worthless. Embarrassing. Waste of time & money.
Really so-called "feminists" today should find a hole and bury their heads in the sand. I say that as a woman who *is* a fifth-generation feminist, whose every female from my great-grandmother has been a strong woman (business savvy, etc.), and find modern-day ones embarrassing not useful.
Sure, if you want to waste millions of dollars making a movie that no one will pay to see.

It's fine the way it is soy boy. They were great movies, and the second one he had a woman as his partner, so that evens it out.
Don't try to make everything into more shitty Mulan remakes.First off I hate movies that are spin offs of other movies. Super women was trash, spider girl was decent, batwoman was ok. Why not make a entirely new character with her own unique design and back story. People love orginials because they don't seem fake. Wonder woman is amazing because people can relate to her. She's one of a kind just like batman, Superman, men in black, hulk and any other series where women have tried to replace the man. It's not fair nor right to be a replacement or try to be better just because it seems sexist. Make a new movie, make something that isn't fake. Men in black is fine the way it is. So make a new Alien movie that's similar but also completely different than men in black
Man Josh Brolin just an awesome agent K.
I wouldn't mind seeing another MIB movie with J and young K together.
by the way... there is Agent Oh and Linda from MIB the original becomes J's partner at the end, replacing K. Your question is therefore debunked.
Only a "woke" ass hole would claim it is sexist.Just make another series if it bothers you that much.
People liked the movie because of the characters in it, replacing them will remove the existing fanbase.
Also "women in black" would be just as sexist under your logic, and it would make no sense to rename the organization, and I hate retcons to series that have no gaping plotholes or continuity errors. There is a good reason... Get woke, go broke.. I mean look at the all female oceans movie, or the all female ghost busters, both were literally dumpster fires.. They both flopped.. Because the vast majority of people don't want woke trash like that.
Feminism is cancer, end of story end of discussion..The Men In Black have nothing to do with gender. The movie is inspired by events where people end up being stalked by men wearing suits and ties after encountering extraterrestrial phenomena. People actually have reported seeing the Men In Black with their own eyes.
One of MIB rules of operation is to be invisible in plain sight out in public. A male in a suit does that since 90% of men in public are never given a second look anyways. While most women regardless on how they're dressed are always observed by someone.
Lovely bait. I'm sure that many will take it.
By the way, considering that every single film in feminist sauce ended up in economic disaster, I'd avoid ruining any other franchise by forcing in insufferable broads. It’s not sexist.
you can pick anything that comes out of a film studio pretty much and pick on something being sexist,
but MIB,
nope or it would not make money and it’s a movie ‘series’You could be being sarcastic.
Well then, why is there the movie "wonder woman" but no "wonder man".
Or how about we just replace all these gender specifics with "person".I thought the latest Men in Black movie "Men in Black International" had a leading female character.
It was Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson.Just like the BLM are being racist now women want to be racist because of a movie title the whole world is full liberals that only think about themselves and only want what's best for their opinion and view side and when you try to tell them something that your opinion or view they can't handle it they riot they revolt they make all excuses they can to turn it so that you're racist you're sexist so that it's not their fault or problem the society today in general is doomed
You’re joking right? I guess instead of it being called Daddy Daycare it should’ve been called Mommy Daycare (Martin Lawrence movie), instead of Big Daddy it should’ve been called Big Mommy (Adam Sandler movie), ooh here’s a better one that isn’t a movie instead of it being called Two and a half of men it should’ve been called Two and a half of women. Would that make you feel better?
Just because you smoke a lot of crack does't mean your delusions are right...
https://www.youtube.com/embed/VnY0fEV30WkBecause every alleged real life encounter with a “man in black” has always been with a literal dude. The only difference is that the movies make them appear more benevolent. Also, political correctness is a joke.
This questions quite amusing, you shouldn't have hidden behind anon.
Oh bullshit. It’s not sexist in the least.
Troll harder next time, but good attempt, just not enough to convince an actual feminist.Everything today is racist, sexist, homophobic, etc.
That is why we should ignore any such accusations from now on, because since everything is there is no reason to care. No, I don't find it sexist. No offence but all the ones they do women remakes suck. Nor is it needed for equality of any kind. People that think that way honestly are snowflakes.
Maybe they wanted to see how successful a woman lead would do first
Not very good in my opinion
