Am I in the wrong here?

Question

Ok I have been teaching in Japan for the past 3 months and I work with a girl fron America. I am a white person from the Ireland and we are getting another teacher from the Uk who is a white man. She constantly tells me how much she hates white people and how horrible it will be to work with a white man. On my birthday she shouted at me for doing an Eminem song at karaoke because he is a white rapper. It makes me really uncomfortable. We have discussed racism and race before and I listened to what she had to say. I offered the point of view my POC friends from the uk have told me and she says its wrong. I have discussed her opinions with these friends and the approach to race issues in the Uk seems to be slightly different than where she is from in America. I don't think she's being racist to white people but she just has a lot of hate for them which I understand she has her reasons for. But on the other hand she fetisizes Asian men and appropriates Asian culture.
I really don't know how to approach this issue, the previous teacher who was a mixed-race Canadian lady left because or this girls attitude. I need advice on how to approach this because it has made my work environment really toxic and if i don't address it i will have to leave

Why don't you just go to the higher-ups? You are all employed by someone/some institution, no? If a fellow teacher left because of her, you could mention that, and use other examples. Quote this woman.

She is racist. Racism exists everywhere. The issue is if anything needs to be done about it, or if a person's attitude is reasonably contained or not.
Is she saying these things to you only, or does it bleed into the workplace, to your students, or is overheard by other faculty members, for instance?

It doesn't sound like you can do much to alter her views. Can you? That's the softest way to approach this. You can 1. Try countering her views with opposing examples, 2. Cut her off and say it's not okay with you to speak like that about entire races/skin colours.

Don't fall into her trap that an entire group is bad and should be categorically demonized.

If you don't want to do 1 or 2, make a formal, anonymous complaint about her.
You don't want to overreact and give into cancel culture. But also, pressure can, and should be, put on people who vent loudly without restraint. She has freedom of speech. So do you. And there are repercussions to expressing oneself.
Your silence, and/or head nodding, is potentially deepening her biases.

Tell her that she doesn't work alone and she's being toxic and racist, or call all your whites coworkers and say somethings right to her face.

Manipulative people love bullying meek and weak people indeed. You just need to figure out who is who in the queue...

It sounds like she's a Weeaboo. She probably thinks Japanese culture is superior to her white culture and she's obsessed with anime or some shit. I've met white people like that before and I just ignore them.
