Even though plenty of people say yeah men and women can be just friends, lotta people don't act like it irl.
Lot of my older friends thought I liked her & that I'd be mad if they tried to get with her, a few even tried to set us up a couple times, and ofc denying it only made them more sure. Or my gfs had a couple her friends text her before saying they saw me cheating, on a date/flirting with a girl, when we're just fuckin hanging out like anyone else does.
It isn't very big a deal in the grand scheme of things, and ofc not all people have this double standard, but it's a pretty dumb double standard held by a lot more people than it should be.
Yes, I agree the pedophile one is the worst double standard. Also, another worst double standard is the concept of male rape. Male rape apparently doesn't exist, and men are lucky to get raped. Most countries simply don't recognize male rape as a legal offense.

4. How we handle rape... its the victim's fault because they wore this clothing or that/if they didn't want it they should've fought back/you can't rape a man/& so on. Instead of teaching people to RESPECT the word NO & that the rapist is 100% the one at fault.
There are a lot of political double standards between liberals and conservatives. President Obama created "detention facilities" for illegal immigrants. When Trump became president they were then called "concentration camps." When Biden became president they are now called, "detention facilities."
There are a lot of racial double standards too.

Women who want to be treated exactly as men whether it be in the workplace or real life but dodge responsibility at every turn.
I have a feminist coworker who talks about her independence but constantly is asking me to help her with basic home maintenance and car maintenance.
If you need a man to answer your questions and hel you fix things when a YouTube video could teach you exactly the same, are you actually independent?
One of the dumbest double standards in my opinion is how women are normally allowed to make mistakes and be soft whereas guys are expected to be "masculine" and toughen up or not do anything back when insulted, bullied, and physically hurt by a girl. I just don't think it's okay how some girls literally punch a dude in the privates when they feel insulted I can understand if they were in danger but I personally think hurting someone even if it seems playful when you insult them is not okay.
The dumbest double standard according to me is when a girlfriend has a good male friend and the boyfriend is expected to not have a problem but when the boyfriend has a good female friend the girlfriend has problems with them. I feel this personally because this has happened to me, my girlfriend told me to avoid my friend of 2 years only after 3 months on relationship.
When men has a lot of sex it is considered cool and manly but when women have a lot of sex they are immediately labeled as whores.
Another double standard is how women have tons of choices in their closet, hell they can even wear men clothing and people would consider it as empowerment or encouraging towards women. While on the other hand us men have some of the saddest shit when it comes to clothing options, and if some guys want to do the exact same thing most women do you know wear women clothes they get labeled as either gay or get constantly shamed for wanting to express ourselves.
You asked a question about a 49 yr old pedophile sleeping with a 16 yr old and you even defended him in the comments. Why do you keep defending male pedophiles in your questions? Why do you hate only women pedophiles instead? If the 49 yr old was a woman, would you be more pissed?
Women expect men to accept them regardless of their flaws... But are quick to judge men's flaws immediately. It's okay for a woman to say a man has a small dick, but god forbid a man comment on a woman's weight.
The dumbest double standard is if a woman is a virgin, society seems to be fine with it, but if a man is a virgin, he's considered the biggest joke in town, like The 40-Year Old Virgin.
Physical preferences. I've meet many women who get mad and pissed off that men would be like that saying it's controlling, sexist, misogyny, toxic masculinity but it's perfectly fine for women to have unrealistic Physical preferences like only guys above 6', giant muscles, 6 figures, big dick, gets whatever she wants.
I AGREE 100% WITH YOU men should be able to date anybody of any age they want to date or be with. Both parties have a mind of their own and can tell you if they want or not it's so simple

I'm not sure if this is a double standard, but wearing too little clothes gets me lots of criticism for looking slutty, so when I wear lots of clothes I also get constantly told "why are you overdressed, aren't you hot". It's just as bad. WHAT DO I DO?
There's lots of double standards out there that piss me off and I can make a never ending list of them. The biggest one for me is the justice system. Someone can get life in prison for drugs but those who commit much worse, violent crimes can go free as long as they have money, a good lawyer, good traits or qualities, or are just good at getting sympathy (that they don't deserve) from others. Examples include Ethan Couch and Casey Anthony.
Republicans spending thousands of hours investigating benghazi but none investigating their own attempt to overthrow democracy on 1/6. Of course, this double standard is smart for the republicans, as they dont get held accountable for wrongdoing but get to weild investigations as a political weapon. Its just dumb of the people who fall for it.

Older women and younger men have no possibility of pregnancy. If it's "consensual" then it is just fun. With girls it can be just for fun, but there's no guarantee that a pregnancy won't result.
One double standard I can’t stand is where the guy has to call the guys associated his his girlfriend’s friends his friends but she doesn’t have to call the girls associated with the boyfriend her friends
