Both and neither. It depends on economic class. Like most things in life, the answer is messy and nuanced.
I think you're only focusing on the rich; spoiled brats on social media like Tik Tok. Those who are poor (like me growing up) have less now than ever before, because the right and left have never really cared much about helping poor people, or helping those without an education get educated. Yet the people who have everything do FAR more complaining, and have become more entitled than ever, especially females who grew up upper middle class or rich. Poor people don't have time to complain on social media, so you rarely hear from them. The few who do don't get much attention, if any, regardless.
In other words, the poor have become poorer and the rich have become richer, but *everyone* is complaining about what they don't have. Meanwhile, the government and those in the shadows are continuing to make things worse as they keep people out of work for a year and give away taxpayer money to useless bullsh*t in other countries and put more pork in bills than a pig farm.
They mostly have been given everything but me
I'm an exception... you don't spend your free time as a youth pulling scrap metal out skips for kicks but cold hard cash (back then the law still allowed it)
I went into jewellery at 15 as the cash law changed, my supply of metal dried up and the car accident did for my back
Excluding credit cards (I owe nothing on them at least for now), I borrowed £100 and that was thrust into my hands unexpectedly by my great-aunt and repaid with interest in a few months
Everything else is made from 70 hour weeks for far less than minimum wage, a lot of knowledge and a little bit of luck
College costs more than it did 30 years ago, jobs don't pay as much, degrees aren't worth as much. Families in the past could be supported by one parent working a job but now some people can barely get by with both parents working. Schools used to teach some applicable life skills and now they don't. I'm lucky and don't have to deal with these issues personally. The only reason I haven't been effected by these issues is that I come from a wealthy family.
and people want more stimulus checks and min wage of $30 an hour. These will only make things worse, the gap even bigger. So you got a car and a pony?

My answer is neither its just different. They may not be milking a cow at 5am but they are up all night studying. They may not be plowing fields all day but people these days sit in a office all day
plowing and answering a phone are really different
it is comparing what each generation felt was difficult for their era. Answering a phone dealing with upset customers can be just as stressful as plowing a field and planting before the rain starts believe me I have done both!
Lol given everything?
Are you paying attention to the economy? Everything costs way more now. It's pretty much impossible to buy a house because of how much everything costs.
Did you parents buy you a car?
They bought you nothing? I didn't say everyone and I said 30 or under.
So that’s why you’re such a crabby cunt all the time….
I’ve worked for everything I have, as did pretty much everyone I grew up with
If you say so. Even is Canada is a socialist state that supposing provides everything for their comrades. I was really talking about America.
Do tell what you think Imm lying about
And you are aware the world doesn’t end at the US border, right?
US dominates the world economy with the Dollar. For how much longer , I don't know. But we are still the whale in the pond.
