+1 yDisagreeing with gay marriage doesn't make you "homophobic". Just because some one doesn't agree with you doesn't make them "homophobic" nor does it make them racist. However deciding that because some one disagrees with you or has a difference of opinion that they are inherently a bad person, that does make you a bigot. Your ideology is used as an excuse to do to others what you claim others do i. e. to discriminate against them and to be a bigot.

I never said anyone was bad for not agreeing with gay marriage some of my family members didn’t agree with gay marriage for a time but I feel like “some”religious people try to excuse their bigotry behind a book that they don’t even know has any real meaning behind it so I’m just pointing out how ridiculous it sounds to hate on a group of people your whole life over something you don’t even know is real
- +1 y
and I'm pointing out how ridiculous your statement sounds as its by definition bigotry i. e. intolerance towards other opinions. Your bigoted towards those who disagree with you and bigoted towards those who are religious (as you seem to have quite the disdain for religion which shows you probably haven't bothered to study it in any degree (and I'm not even religious)).
In short you are demanding that every one effectively obey your will, that is they all have to believe what you believe or they are stupid or bad people. That is not how reality works and just as a religious person demanding that others obey their will and follow their beliefs is bigotry, the reverse is also bigotry. - +1 y
Notice how I said some religious people I know plenty of religious people that aren’t like that, and where did you get that I want everyone to agree with me, I don’t care what go does or does not agree with me I’m just stating how I feel. Stop trying to tell me how I feel towards people you don’t even know me smh 🤦♂️
- +1 y
Your saying that those who don't agree wtih you are "homophobic". Thats where I got that. You then argued at length that it was religious people who use religion to defend their "homophobia" again this shows you are targeting a specific group and that its because they don't agree with your views. That is where I got that, your words, your words that you wrote that you can reread right now if you would like, that is where I got that. I'm sorry but you are not exempt from bigotry, your ideological beliefs are not exempt from the rules because they happen to be yours. Any religious person that is intolerant of others views is a bigot, any non religious person who is intolerant of others views is also by definition a bigot. That is how definitions and words work, they are not applicable only when you want them to.
- +1 y
Lol some religious people do hide behind the Bible that’s just a fact the Bible was even used to excuse slavery at some point I’m not targeting religious people as a whole like I keep saying I never said all religious people I said some you are the one generalizing them

u +1 yWhy should anyone admit to being homophobic? People who disapprove of homosexuals aren't really afraid of them.

Yes, I don't know why. I guess it’s because the most racist people hide in plan sight and acting nice to poc is just an act to them.
I had a teacher who posted that slavery was justified by the Bible (basically defended the transatlantic slave trade), he’s still a teacher.10 Reply

RACISM "the belief that different races possess distinct characteristics, abilities, or qualities, especially so as to distinguish them as inferior or superior to one another."
According to BLM, every white person in the USA is racist. Why admit being racist when we are racist by default, even if we don't believe that way.
I've watched YouTube commentaries claiming if a man isn't interested in dating another man then he is homophobic.11 Reply- +1 y
There are diseases that black men get that white men don't. That is not racism but just fact.
478 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I am racist because of data. I am pro-heterosexual because of data. I don't know why anyone would be ashamed of being racist or pro-heterosexual unless they're that way because of feelings.
06 Reply- +1 y
You sound so idiotic so if that’s the case all white men are pedophiles cause data shows that white men make up most of the pedophiles in us prisons
- +1 y
First of all, your data is incorrect because when you take % into account, just like crime, it's actually blacks that end up being pedophiles more often as well, just like murders, or overall crime also tend to be mostly blacks. Secondly, that wouldn't make any sense because just because some of X are Y doesn't mean all of them are. However, if I for example own a business and there are two pools of people, I know one pool has better people on average than the other, I am going to choose from the group that I believe will give my business the highest chance of success, thus choosing from the better pool. I don't care if some emotional person says "bUt tHeRe aRe gOoD pEoPlE iN tHe oThEr pOoL tOo!" This is about choosing the most efficient person based on data. I don't care about some concept of racism or feelings. Get good or get lost. No exceptions.

You know I actually kinda feel bad for you I’ve seen some of the other comments you’ve left and it’s clear to me that you hold a lot of hate in your heart I just hope that one day you will let go of that hate and realize that life is too short for all of the hate you are spreading I don’t know who hurt you in the past but I hope one day you make peace with your demons, I’m done with this conversation cause I’m clearly not getting through to you, bye

First off I’m not even a liberal I’m an independent and second where in the question I asked did I group in all of those things
- +1 y
Sound like a liberal
- +1 y
@SmokinAces2000 so what republicans have you voted for? Or libertarians?
- +1 y
I’m only 20 and I have only voted in the presidential election and I voted for Biden because I agreed with his policies and I thought he was better than Trump. And you can vote democrat and still be independent is just that fact that someone doesn’t want to be tied down to a specific party.
- +1 y
Precisely, your not an independent. You went with the most mainstream corporate democrat out their, you hated trump despite not knowing any of his policies (yes, I can say that safely) and you voted for biden for the same reason i. e. you didn't know any of his policies (and if you did (unlikely) you didn't research them otherwise you would know they are entirely wrong).
Its true, that you can vote democrat and be an independent, but their is a reason for it, you didn't have one. You don't know what is going on, you didn't do research, you didn't study up and have a clearly defined position, you just claim to be independent because you can then claim to be objective when your not.
To prove my point, what policies did you hate of trumps? What policies did you like from Biden? How much time did you spend researching your position? How indepth did you analzye Trumps positions? How indepth did you analyze bidens positions? Do you look at conservative media and left leaning media or just one? How much time do you spend studying politics? - +1 y
Dude I didn’t even really look at policies I’ve been busy in college and I don’t care for politics. The only reason I voted for Biden was because at least he has a filter, Trump was president since I was 16 and he never had a filter his policies might be good but he’s not a good person and is very ignorant. And how are you going to tell me what I am you don’t know me
- +1 y
THEN HOW CAN YOU CLAIM TO BE AN INDEPENDENT AND CLAIM YOU VOTED FOR BIDEN BECAUSE YOU LIKE HIS POLICIES? That is contradictory. Like I said, you did what every typical leftist does, not think, just vote like your told to vote. I'm not saying you can't vote democrat (though no informed person ever would, at least not in any of the elections where I've been alive), I've done it (voted for Obama the first time, that was a monumental fuck up on my part but ironically I did it for the same reason why I voted for trump the second time, because I wanted to fuck up the system and get the establishment out). But if your not aware of what is going on, then why the fuck are you voting? Thats like me saying that my baseball team is the best, you don't know anything, and I think any one who doesn't agree with me is stupid and evil. . . but also I don't actually watch baseball nor do I like it. Why would that be a reasonable stance? Its not. I'm not saying you have to care about politics, but if you don't care don't vote because an ill informed vote is worse then no vote at all.
- +1 y
As for Trump, how do you know? I mean where are you getting your news sources? If I told you that I just listen to fox news, you would claim they lie, which is fair enough because I think they probably due, but why is it that people on the left never once question their own sources? Trump was a good person, he definitley had no filture, albiet an egotistical one, but again how do you know? Did you watch any of his speeches? I mean CNN had to issue a retraction because they intentionally edited his words out of context and made a claim that was provably false. Washington post ran an interview with one of Donald Trumps ex's making him seem like a creep, she then had to demand they issue a retraction because they took everything she said out of context and she never once claimed he was creep stating he had been nothing but a gentlemen, the washington post told her that they where sorry she felt that way but refused to change the article about HER AND WHAT SHE SAID. So how do you know? I'm not saying trust me, don't trust me, don't trust anyone, do the research. So again how do you know?
- +1 y
I scratched the surface of both their policies I just didn’t go in depth because I don’t care what I do know is that trump has no filter and Biden does so that’s who I voted for stop being salty that your king lost and calling everyone who didn’t vote for him a traitor or a leftist. And by the way I do my own research, I don’t watch CNN or FOX for political information
- +1 y
And I’m not going to vote for somebody that said they would date their daughter if she wasn’t their daughter that’s a hella creepy thing to say and that was not edited or taken out of context
- +1 y
Okay, but you said you liked his policies so what policy did you like? I'm not saying you have to go insanely indepth, I'm saying you have to at least know what the policy is and the basics of what it would do.
As for doing your own research, from where? What are your sources? My point was that you are lied to and manipulated every day, how do you avoid that? I have eight different news sources and four that I go to the most and two that I got to religiously and they are all on opposite sides of the spectrum. I also read actual reports and listen to FULL speeches given because the media edits the hell out of them in order to create a completely different story of the speech (like when they claimed trump didn't denounce white supremacy by saying he said "both sides had good people" but then neglect to mention the first thing he said in his speech was that white supremacy and racism have no place here.). So that was my point, what independent research are you doing, where do you go for information? I'm not saying CNN specifically, I was refering to left leaning sources like vox, buzzfeed, vice, huffington post etc. they all do the same thing yet for some reason people only point to fox news. So what are your sources, what do you do to get your information?
Also I have no idea what your talking about the trump quote but I can all but guarentee its taken out of context as almost everything he stated was.

So I guess if your kid came out as gay you would would probably try to beat the gay out of them huh

You’re hella ignorant I though religion was supposed to be about worshiping god not a book sometimes it seems like y’all worship the Bible more than you worship god even though you have never met the person who wrote the Bible and it was written thousands of years ago and probably rewritten about a million more times. For all you know everything in the Bible could be a lie. I believe in God but not the Bible
- +1 y
Maybe you are the one that needs fixing and so does the Bible it needs more of a modern outlook
Are you more racist or homophobic?
